Chapter Eight

Later on that day I went to the warehouse where I knew Hannah would be. I walked in the door and marched right up to her.

“Why did you lied to me?” I asked her when I got up to her.

“What do you mean?” she answered.

“Stop... just stop. I know you lied about Purgatory being for people who sin and need to redeem themselves.

It's for monsters only, the angels sing to the small sinners a song to make their sins go away.” I yelled.

“Okay so we do, do that .” she said.

“Then why did you lied to me?” I asked her.

“Okay sit down.” she told me.

“No. I’m not doing anything you tell me, until you give me the truth.” I yelled.

Then she pointed her finger and moved it in a short quick motion. I heard a loud noise and saw a chair coming for me. Then she moved her finger again and I was sitting in the chair.

“Okay Ashton, I don't work for Heaven.” she told me.

“Then who do you work for.” I said trying to be calm.

“Gadreel.” she told me. I immediately stood up and brought out my blade.

“I was told to find you and tell you lies.” she said. Then she started to walked up to me I put my blade up. Then I put it right on her chest so she wouldn't get any closer without killing herself. She stopped and put her hands in the air.

“When I first meet you I was supposed to record what you did how well you would do at being a protector. Thats why I always had a notebook.” she told me. Then I felt something move slightly in my head. Like when you think that someone is in your head. Then I heard,

“Then I got to know you and i stopped telling you lies and I started training you so you would know how to defeat Gadreel.”

“That is so typical, all the people working for the bad guy say that Hannah.” I said to her.

“Ashton listen, you have to believe me. I don't work for him anymore.” I heard from inside my head.

“Why should I believe you. You were hired to lie to me.” I said to her.

“What if I tell you my real name?” she asked. I just looked at her not saying anything the blade still up to her chest. She opened her mouth and said

“Lillian.” She said out loud this time.

Then I was on a beach standing with my feet in the water. I looked down to find that I had on a white long sleeved shirt with ruffle at the bottom of the sleeve. It was tied together at the top with brown string. I was wearing brown pants that came up to my stomach and black boots that were sitting next to me.

I had on this old looking navy blue coat that looked like it had been worn for many many years. It looked like I was wearing clothes from the seventeen hundreds. Then I heard running from the top of the beach I looked to find a woman running at me. She had on a black dress with white sticking out of the top on the shoulders. She had her hair up in what looked like a hat the pilgrim woman wore with strands of red curled hair stuck out.

“Samuel.” she yelled.

“Samuel, my love.” she said when she got up to me. I then realized that this woman was Hannah.

“Hello my dear Lillian.” I said to her. I felt like it was me in the body but I wasn't controlling it.

“ I just got the most wonderful news.” she said grinning wide.
