"How's your time over at Thomas', honey?" my mother asked the moment I entered the house.
"Fine." I replied quickly.
"Well, dinner is almost ready. Why don't you go upstairs and change into your pajamas." she instructed me.
I made my way upstairs to my room. Once I got inside, I locked my door and changed into my pajamas. I was about to go downstairs when I felt my phone vibrate. I looked at my notifications and saw that I had a message from Thomas. I decided to ignore his message to avoid any akwardness. I groaned thinking about attending school tomorrow. Surely, I had to come up with a plan to skip school tomorrow.
I went downstairs to eat my dinner with my mother. I kept hatching a plan when I was eating that I didn't even hear my mother ask me a question.
"Chloe? Chloe. CHLOE!" my mother said loudly after calling my name for the fifth time.
"Huh?" I replied smartly.
"I just asked you a question. Did you even pay attention to me?." she asked me impatiently.
"Urm, no. Sorry. It's just that I'm not feeling well. I have a horrible headache. It feels like my head is splitting apart." I told her while cringing and holding my forehead.
"Oh, dear. Let me get you some medicine. Why don't you finish your dinner and head upstairs to your room and rest." she got up and headed to the bathroom for some medicine.
Wow. I can't believe that she's so gullible. That went way better than expected. I quickly finished my dinner and went upstairs. My mother came to my room a few minutes later and fed me my medicine.
"Honey, since you aren't feeling well I suppose you don't have to go to school tomorrow." she told me. I nodded my head and pretended to be sad. She wished me goodnight and left.
Once I heard the door shut, I pulled out my phone and went through my Facebook notifications. I had gotten a few new friend requests that I decided to ignore. I didn't know those people so why should I be friends with them? Soon after, I got bored of using my phone so I turned it off and went to sleep.
In case you were wondering, no I am not dead. I'm so so so so so sorry for not updating for a month. Well, now that I'm back I just want to say thank you so much for nearly 300 reads!
