When Sasuke got back home, the first thing he did was he took a bath. Afterwards, he went to the kitchen and looked for something to eat, since it was past noon and he still hasn't eaten lunch.

"So I guessed Sakura starved you to death, huh?" Itachi appeared out of nowhere.
"No," he continued looking for food.

"We had leftovers from awhile ago, just reheat the chicken teriyaki."

"Alright, thanks," Sasuke said while he opened the fridge.

"So what happened at Sakura's?"

"I got sick, but I'm okay now. And we also discussed our arrangements."

"So, you two are good now?"

"Yep."

"That's nice. Does that mean you two are gonna be living together now?"

"No," Sasuke found the chicken teriyaki and took it outside of the fridge.
He then started walking towards the microwave oven.

"You just said you discussed your arrangements! Don't you dare forget about mom and dad, Sasuke," Itachi reminded him.
"Well yeah. But the thing is, we already told Sarada the truth," he slammed the door of the microwave oven close and reheated the chicken.

"You did?!"

"Yep. And of course, she didn't take it well."

"Oh god."

"Not only that, Sakura's parents now know about my involvement, too. So, you know..."

"That's what happened during your stay at Sakura's?! So what now?"

"I'll give them space for the meantime. And Sarada will not be spending time with us again."

"Mom and dad will be furious."

"Yep, I know."

"And you don't seem so worried about this because?"

"I'm hungry," Sasuke answered, then pulled out the now reheated chicken from the microwave oven.

He didn't tell his brother a word about him and Sakura making up. But Itachi was right, after everything that just happened on that day, why was he not feeling worried?

Sakura's parents are mad at him, Sarada's mad at him, his parents will definitely be mad at him. And yet here he was, eating his late lunch.

"Did something happen between you and Sakura?" Itachi suddenly asked.
Sasuke almost choked on what he was eating.
"What the hell do you mean?" Sasuke began drinking his glass of water.

"Normally you'd be stressing about this by now. But it's either Sakura starved you to death or you both did something... you know. One of which is why all of these aren't sinking in to you just yet."

"Will you let me eat first?!"

"Alright, so the answer is Sakura starved you to death," Itachi said then left his brother at the kitchen.

When Itachi left, Sasuke just smiled.
He might not like the idea of Sarada hating him, but he understands his daughter. At least he and Sakura are now okay, it's the first step.

He will encounter more struggles from Sakura's parents and his parents. But to him it didn't all matter as long as he and Sakura are now okay—more than okay actually.

That night his parents asked what happened at Sakura's, and he told them everything. He ended up being sat down in the living room, and was being given the lecture.

"I need to give my daughter some space, she's still so young, this is all too much for her!" Sasuke explained himself.

But of course, his parents went on about him and Sakura not being together, and that they should've already told Sarada from the moment Sasuke found out about his daughter.

When he told them that Sakura's parents knew already about him and that they didn't want him to be involved, both his parents fumed to the point where Itachi had to meddle in and calmed them both down.

"You are the father and you should be the one providing for your child! Who the hell will do those things for her if you're not involved?!" Fugaku shouted again, making Itachi's efforts to calm him down wasted.

The boys were now starting to worry about their parents' anger, and health also, since their parents are both senior citizens, they shouldn't be yelling and stressing out like this.

"Dad, just please give me time. That's all I need," Sasuke said calmly, since he was also getting worried something might happen to his dad if Fugaku continued shouting at him. "I will fix this, don't you trust me?"

Finally both their parents let out a deep sigh. They trusted their son with their company, they sure know that Sasuke will figure out a way to make his family whole again.

Itachi went to the kitchen, and when he came back he was holding two glasses of water for his parents to calm their nerves.
"I just want what's best for my granddaughter," Mikoto said as she drank her water.

"I know that mom, me too. Sakura and I had talked about this. Just please give us both time."

"Fine," Fugaku left the living room, and his mom followed.

Sasuke took a deep breath and shook his head.
"You need help with Sakura's parents?" Itachi offered.

"I actually do, thanks. But I need to hear first from Sakura about her parents before doing anything. I need to take my actions slowly."

"Okay, then. Lemme know if she already said anything. Now get some sleep."

They both went upstairs. When Sasuke got to his room, the first thing he did was grabbed his phone and called Sakura.
"Hey," Sakura answered after two rings.

"Just checking up on the two of you."

"Sarada's already asleep, and I'm getting ready for bed."

"I know it happened just this morning, but I already miss sleeping beside you."

"I do too."

"So I told my parents about what happened with Sarada and your parents."

"Really?! Lemme guess, they didn't take it well?"

"Yep. I was sat down and lectured."

They were on the phone talking all night, just like they did when they were dating.
Back then, every night they talked and flirted with each other on the phone until they both fell asleep, not being able to end the call.

While they were talking now, they started reminiscing to the good old days when they used to talk like this, and about the things they used to talk about before going to bed, which was mostly what happened to them on that day.

"What do you think your parents will do?" Sasuke asked after they shared a laugh, making their conversation serious again.
"I dunno, really. But I'll let you know if I talked to them again," Sakura answered.

"Thank you."

"Sasuke, are you planning on doing something?"

"Nothing, really. Just need to prepare myself for whatever's about to happen."

"I'm sorry we had to go through this."

"I don't mind really, as long as I'm going through all of these with you. And as long as we're okay, everything will fall back into place. Not right away, but I know it will. Cause I'm with you."

"Sasuke Uchiha, you are so... ugh!"

"Why? What?"

"How do you that?"

"Do what?"

"Make me fall in love with you all over again?"

"Well, I'm cute."

They both laughed.
"I love you, Sasuke. I really do. Thanks for coming back."

"Remember my promise, okay? I will never leave again. I love you so much."

They continued talking about Sarada's future, they reminisced again, and flirted again, until they both fell asleep not ending the call.
