"I'm so excited to see Sarada!" Sasuke told Sakura, holding her hand while on the car ride on the way home.

"Well I don't wanna ruin your excitement, but you know, she may not be as enthusiastic to you as before."

"I know that. Based on your stories, she really did just probably overheard the things about Sasori that's why she became ready to see me. Even if that's the case... still, she acknowledged me as her real dad."

"As usual, you're understanding."

"Of course, I am!" Sasuke chuckled.

It was already late afternoon when the both of them finished Sasuke's work and when they've reached the Uchiha residence.

When they both entered the front door, they saw Sasuke's parents and his brother in the living room, with a sleeping Sarada on Mikoto's lap.

"Do you think we should tell them the news?" Sasuke whispered to Sakura.
"No, not yet. I told you I just took one test. If it turns out as a false positive, then what do we tell them?" She whispered back.

When they walked closer to the living room, Sasuke took a deep sigh,
"I was so excited to see her, but now look, she's fast asleep!" He chuckled softly.
"Yeah, we played with her since this morning, she got really tired," Itachi responded.

Sakura laughed.
"I'm sorry, I know you're really looking forward to see on how she'll react if she sees you again," she said to Sasuke.

"So is something wrong?" Itachi asked both Sasuke and Sakura.
"Well not that we're aware of. Why'd you ask?" Sasuke responded.
"Just curious why Sakura rushed to the office. What's so urgent? Should we be worried about something?" Itachi asked again.
"No, no, no! Nothing's wrong!" Sakura answered this time.

"Yeah, we just needed to talk about something," Sasuke added.
"Talk about what? It must be something important. I mean Sakura wouldn't be in a hurry like that if it's nothing," Itachi really wanted to know.

"It's nothing, really. We both just discussed something about uhm... well we're not even quite sure yet if—"

Sakura cut off Sasuke by pinching him, but she didn't make it obvious.
"Ow!" He whimpered.
"Don't be too obvious," Sakura whispered in his ear.

Mikoto looked at both of them funny, like she finally found answers.
Sakura wanted to talk to Sasuke so bad this morning, that when she learned he was not home, she rushed to the office. And now his son was about to say something that both of them were still uncertain of. Yep, she knows what's up.

"Not quite sure of what?" She asked the both of them.

"Oh it's nothing, Sasuke here is just—"

Mikoto interrupted Sakura,
"If it's a false positive?" She asked smiling.
"M-mom, what are you saying?" Sasuke asked nervously.

Itachi was looking at both his mom, and at Sasuke and Sakura, confused.

"I've been there, Sasuke," she answered confidently, then turned to Sakura. "So tell me Sakura, dear. Is it positive? Are you pregnant?"

Both Sasuke and Sakura with wide eyes, froze standing in the living room, both not knowing how to answer. Fugaku finally removed his gaze from the television to look at the both of them, and Itachi's expression was full of excitement.

"I knew it you guys are really back together!" Itachi shouted, and clapped his hands together.
"Itachi, will you keep it down, your niece is sleeping!" Mikoto exclaimed.
"Oh right," he responded and composed himself.
