Weeks past since Roen and I got broke up. I didn't hear any gossip about it. And I'm pleased about it. I think I need a break because I'm stressed out.

Beach? Out of town?

I'm in the middle of thinking when suddenly someone knocked on my door.

"Come in."

"Ma'am, Mr. Sacueza is here." Sabi ni Brenda na agad ko naman itong ikinagulat.

Why Daddy is here?

Agad na pumasok si Daddy sa office ko at nilibot ang buong mata sa office.

"Did you renovate it? It's good. You do really have a taste on interior designs." Sabi bi Dad at umupo sa couch ko.

"So, What brings you here, Da?" I asked and then I sat in my chair.

"Di na ba ako pwedeng bumisita sa anak ko?"

"That's not what I meant, It's just that you're not visiting me here since you pass the business to me. So, I'm kinda suprised."

Dumating naman si Brenda na may dalang kape at agad na umalis para bigyan kami nang privacy.

"Ah! I just got curious about how you manage the hotel and exports well. So, I visited you here." Ngiti pa ni Dad.

But I think di lang iyan ang dahilan niya kung bakit siya pumunta rito.

"Is that so." Tanging nasabi ko habang nakataas kilay. Tumawa naman si Dad bago nagsalita.

"You don't believe me, my child? Come and join me for lunch. I miss having lunch with my daughter." Sabi niya naman at agad naman akong sumangayon.

We chose to eat in the overlooking view here in the restaurant. We're just blending in the tourist. We just want to be low key.

"So, Dad. What is it?" I asked as I cut the meat of my chicken.

"Really, It's nothing. I just want to have lunch with you."

We talked about business stuff and He also praised me on how I manage our two businesses.

"So, Estelle. How's lovelife?" He asked me.

Napaangat naman ako nang tingin kay Dad. Agad naman siyang ngumisi.

"I don't have one." Tipid kong sabi at agad naman umaliwalas yung mukha niya.

"Hiwalay na kayo nung Claveria na yun?" Ngiting tanong ni Dad. Tinaasan ko naman siya nang kilay dahil sa inasta niya.

"Yes, And you're happy because we're done?" I asked while raising my left eyebrow. Agad namang nawala yung ngisi ni Dad at agad nagpalit sa makungkot na ekspresyon.

"No, I'm sad for you, my child." Sabi niya pa gamit ang malungkot na tono nang boses.

"Ang plastic mo naman, Dad." Sabi ko pa na agad niyang kinabigla.

"I'm not. I'm being true here. I'm really sad for your heart, sweetie. I guess you need someone who gonna heal your heart." Ngiti pa ni Dad saakin.

"I know you don't want Roen for me. You're just faking your sadness. And No thanks, No lovelife for now." Sabi ko at uminom nang juice.

"I know someone, Estelle. We're invited on the grand birthday party. I expect for you to be there." Sabi naman ni Dad. Yeah, I'm right. There's really something that's why he's here.

Agad ko namang nakita si Renzo na papunta sa pwesto ko na galit. I can saw anger in his eyes and he's also clenching his jaw. His fist is clenched too. Agad siyang lumapit saakin at agad akong hinila.
