CHAPTER 1: BROKEN CITY

*EPILOGUE* 

The world is made up of potential, this is what helps us trigger our inner ability. Ability is basically a special skill that is either passed down through our past ancestors or an entirely new ability is developed. 

Through the years, the world had live in peace and unity with each other, nobody had sin and everyone was perfect. 

Years ago, the King of Alkatra, Leader of the 12 Great Nations, was the wisest, most powerful, and honest man to ever grace the loam. His name was King Liberator, he ruled the lands for thousands of years, his ability was his Immortality. He had a wife called, Althena, she was an Angel from Heaven, and years after they were married, she got pregnant with twin boys named Law and Gloom. 

Law had the ability of Light, his personality was bright and everyone loved him. Always the center of attention and helpful to those in need. Gloom, on the other hand, had the ability of Darkness, he always kept to himself and stayed in the garden reading books. Although they were different, they were always there for each other like brothers are supposed to be.

Althena, the wife of King Liberator, got sick when the boys were 19. Healers from around tried to help her but this curse could not be fixed by potential. The king began to be frustrated, fearful that the love of his life would leave the world. The twin boys were always by her side praying that God would heal this curse and bring her back to full health.

King Liberator asked God from above to give his wife a chance, so he whispered in his ears, "You must give up your immortality". King Liberator was hesitant at the moment but he had made up his mind, her life was more valuable than his. He wrote a note that night, so when they found his dead body, they would understand why. 

The next day, the mother curse was lifted, everything was good in the kingdom until they found King Liberator's dead body. The entire loom was filled with sadness with the death of King Liberator. Months later, Gloom disappeared from the kingdom mysteriously, never to be seen again. Law was chosen to be the new king and his mother was always by his side helping with the decision-making.

Later on, there was a new type of evil that swarmed the land. The Cursed. The cursed are lifeless creatures that have only one thing in mind. Destroy.

This caused King Law to form an army of soldiers, called Shorigin, they are the protectors of loom and destroyers of the Cursed. This battle has gone on for years, nobody knows where the Cursed came from or what they are made out of.

Rumors are that they are a group of Cursed/Human out there that make the Cursed for their intention to rule the entire loom but nobody really knows.

King Law got married to a commoner called Ivy, she was a kind-hearted person and very beautiful. They got married and made a son called Origin, to the King, it meant a new beginning. 

One night, there was an attack in the kingdom. The King was trying to keep his wife and son safe so they were kept in the basement of the castle. That night the baby was kidnapped. The only thing the wife remembered is that there was a man, wearing a cape and a symbol on his hand. He used his potential to make her go blind for a while to take the baby and leave.

After that day, the King searched every nation in loom but there was no sign of the King's child. The king swore to this day that he will find the kidnapper and will be the one to stop the Cursed and bring the kingdom and loom back to the peaceful place it once was when King Liberator was here.
