5: is jungkook his name?

"i'm park jimin."

jungkook's eyes widened. "park jimin? so... you are taehyung's friend?"

"h-how do you now tae..?" jimin asked anxiously. yoongi felt the anxiety in jimin and glared at jungkook. "what the hell, dude."

"he is my mate." jungkook just said, ignoring yoongi.

"your mate?!" jimin asked loudly, making everyone in the hall look at them.

"calm down." yoongi patted his back.

jimin knows about the pills and which effects they really have, so he wonders how jungkook knows.

"d-do you know where he is? i was searching for him." jimin said, trying to stay calm.

jungkook shrugged and eyed the beta suspiciously. "he left school and ran away."

"oh my god, what?! my baby, i need to find him." both jungkook and yoongi growled lightly.

"oh, i'm sorry..." jimin said and bowed lightly to jungkook. jungkook's wolf just didn't like the way the beta said his baby.

"i-i think i need to go... i need to find him." he waved at them and smiled at yoongi before running off.

"isn't he cute?" yoongi mumbled dreamingly while looking at nothing in particular.

jimin ran to seokjin's café knowing that it's the only place taehyung could be or at home, but taehyung wouldn't be at home alone. and just like expected, he was at the café, sitting on one of the tables and drinking hot chocolate.

he already had new things on and he looked better and happier. jimin went in and hugged him tightly. "tae is everything alright?"

taehyung was first taken off guard but smiled right after. "i'm fine. and you?"

"i was searching for you everywhere, i got so worried. i'm glad you're alright though."

taehyung smiled halfheartedly, hoping it was enough to reassure his best friend that everything is fine. "yeah, i just didn't feel like school."

jimin sat down next to him. "i need to tell you something, don't freak out."

taehyung nodded confused. "what's up?"

"i found my mate!" jimin said excitedly and taehyung's eyes widened, as an uncomfortable feeling formed in the put of his stomach. "r-really? i'm so happy for you."

jimin eyed him suspiciously. "okay, what's up? you're not screaming and jumping around in excitement."

taehyung shook his head. "i'm just not feeling well. but believe me, i'm so indescribably happy for you. now there's only me left."

"but, i thought you found your mate?" the older beta blurted out.

"no he hasn't." seokjin's unusual stern voice was heard. "jimin can we talk in private?"

confused, jimin followed seokjin to the staff zone. "hyung, can you believe it? i've found my mate!" jimin smiled brightly. jin's frown also softened and he smiled back, hugging jimin tightly. "i'm happy for you, chim." he said as he let go.

then he sighed. "chim you need to listen to me, taehyung has found his mate, he's a true blood. he can't sense it because of the pills though and it's better this way. i can't give him into the hands of an alpha, yet an trueblood. don't mention it to him again." seokjin explained the facts, making jimin glare at him. a reaction seokjin didn't expect from him.

"i get where you are coming from, but it was always taehyung's biggest wish to find his mate and now you are trying to pull them apart? look, i found my mate today and alone the thought of not being able to be with him tears me apart. i didn't even have a proper introduction to him and i already care about him so much. it's fated love, hyung. how will taehyung ever get to experience it if you keep him away from his mate?"
