29: hidden strength

"taehyung calm down, we can't go! it's too dangerous." jimin fought with the tears, as he tried to hold taehyung back from storming out. it was hard, painful even to witness his best friend in so much pain and desperation.

"b-but j-jungkook. he-he is in danger and- nghh it hurts!"

taehyung clutched his stomach, bending forward while biting into his bottom lip to suppress the pain.

"i know, tae... jungkook will be back soon. the pain will stop- he will make it stop. you just have to wait a little." jimin's shaking hands caressed taehyung's back.

he had never seen taehyung like this. and he hopes that in the future, when this is over, he will never have to.

suddenly, jimin stopped moving when he felt someone's presence in their near and heard something, followed by a knock on the car window.

"jungkook, tell me he is fine." seokjin immediately ran to the young alpha when he saw him entering the room. they were still fighting with the pack members of astral and since now, it seems really easy to take them down.

"hyung, i can't say he's fine, but-

there was dramatic hand clapping that made everyone in the room stop in their moves. bangtan's pack members instantly growled.

"you could've let me know earlier that you are coming, i would've prepared some tea for you." astral's alpha chuckled with a smirk.

"as if we would drink tea from you!" jin hissed, looking at the disgusting face of the alpha.

but the man just laughed. "i believe you would drink the tea, if i show what presents i've prepared for you."

"don't touch me you bastard!" jimin's voice could be heard, as he got dragged in the room by two wolves, who tightly held onto him.

everyone gasped. "JIMIN!" yoongi shouted, already attempting to run to the beta, but hoseok stopped him, seeing one of the guards holding a knife against jimin's throat.

"y-yoongi." jimin choked out.

jungkook looked at jimin with wide eyes. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM AND WHERE IS TAEHYUNG?!" he growled.

"j-jungkook..." taehyung cried, as he got dragged into the room too. seeing his mate was making him need him even more and he hissed and cried by the pain.

"TAEHYUNG!" seokjin gasped, feeling a range of anger through his body.

jungkook watched in shock. "no..."

the guards let taehyung go and the moment he was on his feet, he run to jungkook's direction, wanting him to hold him and to just take him away from this suffocating place.

"stop omega, don't go near him." taehyung couldn't disobey the alpha's voice and fell onto his knees, only two meters apart from jungkook, crying while looking up to him. he whimpered lightly, locking eyes with the true blood.

he's there, in front of him, but he couldn't approach him. touch him. feel him.
he couldn't do anything.

the true blood felt his blood rushing hot, because who dared to order around his omega? jungkook would've already run to him, scoot him in his arms, but there was still jimin. no one dared to make a wrong move.

"it's fine tae... it's fine." he whispered reassuringly. he knew that nothing was fine.

"turn around omega and come here." taehyung obeyed, but his eyes were locked with jungkook's the whole time. jungkook growled.

"DON'T TOUCH HIM, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" seokjin cried. "let them go!" namjoon shouted, trying to hold his mate back from storming towards them.

the alpha chuckled. "let me have my fun first."

"kneel down , omega." he ordered and taehyung obeyed with teary eyes, letting himself fall on his knees again and he instantly held his tummy, groaning by the pain.

"what are you doing?!" jungkook took a step forward.

"jungkook not!" yoongi shouted, his eyes fixed on his mate. the wolves holding jimin tightened there grip around the boy's arms and pressed the knife closer to his throat. "d-don't..."

"how boring y'all are. let's go on with the show." astral's alpha laughed. "tell them who your alpha is." he said and jungkook felt his wolf burning in anger.

taehyung looked to jungkook, inhaling and exhaling deeply. "y-you."

"what the fuck?!" hoseok shouted.

jungkook let out a throaty growl as he glared at the alpha.

"now my little omega... let me mark you," he squatted down, inching closer towards Taehyung's neck.

"NOO!" seokjin's yelled.

taehyung cried, closing his eyes.

no one wanted to look at what was going to happen, no one dared. but jungkook had his eyes fixed on the scenario, his body trembling in anger.

"JUNGKOOK JUST SAVE TAE!" jimin shouted, but yoongi took a step forward. "NO!"

by now, jungkook's blood was boiling. he felt his body getting hotter, his hands clenching to fists, his nails digging into his own skin at the pressure. his eyes were shining red, but not the usual red. this red was darker, deeper, more dominant than ever, making you feel intimidated just by looking in them.

a loud growl let everyone in the room shudder. "STOP! NO ON IS GOING TO MOVE ONE BIT!" jungkook shouted with his alpha voice.

everyone stopped.

every omega would've stop anyways. every beta would've stopped anyways. but in jungkook's case, even every alpha stopped. the true blood found out about his hidden strength.

it was just silent.

he was the only one moving and he couldn't believe what just happened, but he wasted no time on this thoughts.

first thing he did was running to taehyung and pulling him on his feet and away from that disgusting alpha, before simply killing him by ripping his throat open. he deserved a more painful death, but jungkook also couldn't bear the thought of this man breathing on the same planet as taehyung anymore.

second he did was order his friends and family to move and jimin immediately ran into yoongi's arms, seokjin to taehyung.

but the omega was still in pain, eyes fixed on his mate. "j-jungkook!" taehyung gasped. he clung onto jungkook's shirt, panting while looking up with pleading eyes. "m-make the pain s-stop."

the alpha looked at taehyung and then to the others. "we need to go back as fast as possible, hoseok you'll drive me and taehyung, the rest shift. namjoon tell dad to send troops to clear the things here up."

everyone nodded and jungkook quickly picked taehyung up, carrying him bridal style into the car.

they sat down in the back and hoseok on the steering wheel. "drive as fast as possible."

"i will."

"WAIT!" taehyung shouted and the two wolves looked at him.

"y-yeri..."

jungkook raised one eyebrow.
"what?"

"she's there ngh, th-they'll hurt her. y-you need to save her. she wanted to help me!"

jungkook looked at taehyung surprised and then to hoseok, who looked even more confused. "fine, inform namjoon and jin, they'll get her." jungkook ordered and hoseok immediately send a mindlink.
