17: sea breeze

but something was wrong.

the moment their lips melted together, moved in sinc in a soothing, loving way- taehyung felt it. his mind got clouded by a new scent, a scent of the sea breeze and a taste of vanilla. a scent that was already addicting for him. jungkook's scent.

his nails dug onto jungkook's arms and he kissed the older harder, hungrier, taking him by surprise. breathlessly jungkook cut the kiss off, eyeing taehyung with a raised eyebrow and his eyes widen when he sees the omega's eyes shining purple and his fangs showing. "t-tae...?" he asked, voice laced in worry.

but before he could ask further, a light growl emitted taehyung's lips. "mate" he rasped and crashed their lips back together.

and for jungkook, the world seemed to stop for the moment. his heart was beating at its maximum, while he was trying to process his mate's words again. his eyes were wide open and he didn't move one bit, letting taehyung do everything he needed or wanted.

mate he hears taehyung's voice all over again.

snapping out of his trance, his eyes fell on taehyung, who was still kissing him and in realization, jungkook instantly gripped taehyung's waist tightly, lifted him up and spun both of them around, without cutting the kiss. they giggled against each other's lips, small tears curling down their cheeks in happiness. taehyung's arms were around the alpha's neck, as he tried to be as close to jungkook as possible.

slowly, the two cut off from each other and jungkook placed taehyung on his feet, who then weekly fell back into his arms. the alpha slowly knelt down on the ground and pulled taehyung onto his lap, his purple eyes filled with tears.

taehyung hugged jungkook tightly. "kookie, i-i feel it, m-my wolf feels it. you are my mate, i-i..." taehyung sobbed, jungkook shook his head, still not believing what just happened, warm tears leaving his eyes.

tears. something jungkook only loses for taehyung.

"i'm so happy tae.. d-don't cry.." jungkook whispered, wiping taehyung's tears away, but the omega laughed lightly. "y-you're also crying." he mumbled while also wiping jungkook's tears away.

taehyung stopped, keeping his hand on jungkook's cheeks and just admired his face. that was the person he always dreamed to meet. the person fated to be with him. his mate, his love. "i love you." he said, looking deeply into jungkook's eyes.

the alpha placed his hand on top of taehyung's and squeezed it lightly. "i love you too, angel."

taehyung smiled widely. "my alpha, my mate..." he said in a quiet voice and jungkook's heart jumped by that. he was someone's alpha now. "my omega.." he whispered against taehyung's hair as he pulled him closer on his lap. taehyung sighed contently, loving the sound of being called jungkook's omega.

an omega, yeah that's what he is.

jungkook was just holding him tightly against his chest, placing soft kisses all over his head, he feels like so much pressure was released from his shoulders. like every worry just vanished.

the whole car ride back home, taehyung was sitting on jungkook's lap, clinging onto him like his life depended on it. they've told the others that taehyung can finally feel it. of course they freaked out, especially jimin, who almost started to cry with taehyung.

they were now standing in front of the pack house, jungkook and taehyung holding hands, when the older suddenly stopped and sniffled around. "tae, i think your brother is here."
