"Malai? What- wait where are your-"

"Ten you need to go before someone catches you," Malai said before getting off of her soulmate and brushing her dress off.

Ten grabbed a hold of her out reached hand before looking back at the stage.

The lights were still off, but the screams and clutters of the audience was making it very clear that Ten had caused quite a bit of chaos.

"Yeah I have like six body guards after me," he mumbled before looking at Malai.

"Ten," she hissed before trying to push past him and reach the stage.

"Mal you cant go out there and read what your parents are making you read-"

"I'm not," she said spinning around, more of her classy bun falling out, it began to resemble something of a spider.

"I placed my own files... signed and ready to go," she said.

Ten looked her up and down, his eyes scanning her figure for any sight of nervousness.

He found her index finger picking at her thumb's cuticle.

"Read the one on top then," he said, "read both because..."

"THERE HE IS!!"

Ten's eyes grew to one's of the dinner plates on the expensive tables at the venue as he gave Malai a pained smile and ran.

Malai was nearly knocked over by three body guards as the lights turned on to reveal the mess that the audience was in.

She sighed before making her way to the stage.

She hit the mic with the palm of her hand, a hollow screeching emitting from the podium to draw the attention of the audience.

"Excuse me," she said, her voice soft as people slowly calmed down.

"Every please don't panic it'll be ok."

Out of the corner of her eye, she could see the body guards catch Ten back stage. She wanted to run away and help him, but she had to get this done, then she could run.

"Just a minor technical issue," Malai said, people stopping to listen to her.

She looked down and saw the file that Ten had put on top. It was a signed paper waiting for her signature with the pen in her hand.

"I realize that tonight is the night," she started, "that it would be made public that the Wongsaraya Company would be handed over to me. That is true."

The room was completely silent, but Malai could not help to rush as she saw Ten being restrained and dragged off back stage.

"But because of this I have some more important announcements," she continued, "starting with this."
