(Paul's Prom Dress!! 👆)

Paul's POV

"Te miras muy guapo mijo!" My mom gushed for like the third time already. I rolled my eyes and tried to get her to take the hint that I absolutely hated wearing suits.

They were just so... Tight! Not in a good way either. It didn't compliment my body figure.

I was very skinny and I needed to wear clothes that hugged my waist so I looked proportionate.

If I didn't, I would look anorexic. I always used to get that comment when I was younger.

Not anymore though.

"Ama, voy a llegar tarde si no me apuro." I told her while continuing to frown. I didn't want her to tie up my tie because I was literally going to get rid of it as soon as I went to my friends house to change into my prom dress.

"Okay mijo, cuidate y no te vengas muy tarde. I love you." She gave me a big hug and said a short prayer for me. I smiled at her briefly before I grabbed the bag with my dress and heels and makeup and stuff. The coat and snacks on top covered everything else and I made my way outside to see Bianet waiting outside my front gate.

I waved at my mom goodbye, rushing over to the big white gate and opening it, then sliding it shut, and finally locking it with a silver lock.

"Got everything?" She asked me as I opened the door and got in the backseat. I decided to not go into the passenger seat since the person who should go there is Shayla, her best friend.

"I think so." I reached into my pocket and pulled out my iPhone. Then I looked in the bag and made sure everything was in there.

"Yup! Got everything!" I gave her the okay and she drove over to Shaylas house which was literally in the same street as me, but she had a slightly long dirt road we had to follow to get to her house.

"How long do we have to get ready?" I asked Bianet while I was organizing my bag.

"I would say like... 2-3 hours at the most." She responded as we pulled in front of Shaylas house. I got my bag and quickly stepped out of the van. I closed the door behind me lightly and I went to the front to knock on the door and Bianet was right behind me.

After a few seconds, I was literally about to knock again when Shayla opened the door and dude, I swear I had fly reflexes cause I pulled my hand back so fast!

"Jeez! Give me a heart attack why don't you?" I said dramatically.

She gave a quick eye roll and her mouth tugged up into a small grin of amusement. "Well maybe if you were more patient, you wouldn't have had such a traumatic event happen to you."

I pouted and stepped into her very humble yet beautiful home which I admired. "Your parents aren't home?" I asked noticing how silent the house was. The only real noise was the sound of the TV and it was on a news channel.

"No, they left to Tulare to do a bunch of stuff so they'll probably come back in the night if not later." Shayla responded after having greeted Bianet.

"What about your siblings?" I turned to my right and headed into her room to place down my heavy bag.

"They're each staying at friends houses. Mia is with my parents so she will be fine." Shayla closed and locked the door behind us.

"So, we're going to go pick up Stephanie once we're all finished getting ready right?" I heard Bianet ask from the living room.

"Yeah. I'm going to face time her and Angie so they don't feel left out." Shayla pulled up our groupchat and video called them.
