(Stephanies dress above! Not Stephanie though, just the dress :3)

~Paul's POV ~

It was absurdly dark in this room. I stuck my hands out to see if there was a light switch or something of the sort.

I felt around for a little longer and then my hands stumbled upon something... Hard. It was practically rock hard.

What... On earth is this?

"And here I thought you didn't have a thing for me." The hot guys deep voice sounded from the direction of my hands.

I immediately retreated my hands back. "Is that what I think it was?!"

He chuckled. "Those were my abs princess. Not my dick."

THE AUDACITY!!

"I never assumed it was!! You pedophile!" I spat at him, my face heating up and I can tell I was blushing way too hard.

"I'm only 18 beautiful." He grinned.

"Paul?! Now is not the time for your sexual fantasies!" Angie yelled.

"Chill Angie, he was trying to give head today so might as well let him!" Bianet joked.

"Now is not the time you whores!" I searched around some more, brushing past the hot guy and I finally turned on the lights.

I moved some hair out of my face and gasped as I realized there was blood EVERYWEHRE!

"Oh lord!" Shayla was stepping in a puddle of blood without her noticing and she moved over to where Bianet was, grimacing in disgust.

"At least there's nobody else in here... Dead or alive." Stephanie hugged herself and rubbed her arms up and down.

"This door should lead outside to the back parking lot." Piper spoke up, taking extra care on her steps considering she was barefoot.

"There's no windows... We won't be able to tell if there's any zombies outside that door." Bianet gripped the knife in her hand tightly.

My heels clicked with every slow step I took and I lifted up my dress so it wouldn't get stained from the blood on the floor. "We're gonna have to open the door just a little bit. If they are out there... We're screwed."

We all looked around for a moment and mutually agreed we would open the door to make sure.

"Someone is going to have to open the door. The other person will have to stand by in case they try to break in." The hot guy said as he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Would you like to do one of those tasks?" I placed my hand on my hip and looked at him.

He smirked over at me. "Of course. I'll make sure those things don't get past the door if they're out there."

Ugh! Cocky asshole.

But... Why was I seriously attracted to him??!

I pouted my lips and looked away sassily.

"I'll open the door and look outside." Shayla volunteered.

"It's okay Shayla I can do it." Bianet stepped forward.

"No. You already volunteered yourself earlier when you were going to investigate this gas station. It's my turn to contribute." Shayla was in front of the door and Piper unlocked the door with the keys very quietly.

The hot guy had his trusty pocket knife ready in the grip of his hand.

Shayla ever so slowly turned down the handle and pulled the door open just a smidge. She peeked outside and we were all dead silent.

Nobody dared to even move a muscle.

She very hesitantly opened the door a little bit wider and then she let out a LOUD sigh of relief which had us shook.

"They're not back here. There are a couple of cars we could chance to get into. But none of them would fit all of us." She spoke quietly just in case.

"I could hotwire one of them and drive the car away from here to lure them away. That could give you all a chance to fill up the van and escape." Piper gripped the umbrella in her hand.

"But... Where will you go?" I asked worriedly.

She smiled over at us. "Don't worry. We'll meet up at Mission Oak High School. I went there when I was younger so I know it's perfectly safe. Besides, I wouldn't ditch the people who saved my life. You guys seem like good luck."

"That's the school we go to!" Stephanie said surprised.

"Ah well, I trust you guys will be able to reach it without any issues." She had the umbrella ready in her hand.

"Here. Take this. In case the door is locked, you'll have to break the window." I traded my hammer for her umbrella.

"Thank you." She nodded towards me and then to Shayla so she could open the door.

As soon as the door was swung open, Piper dashed towards the closest car which thankfully, was unlocked so she could easily scurry inside the drivers seat.

The lord must have been smiling down upon her at this moment because she happily waved the keys to the car over at us and we were grinning like the Cheshire cat.

She turned on the car which made a loud roar in the process and she stepped down on the pedal, driving the car to the front of the gas station and honking loudly.

I ran over to the other door across the room and pressed my ear against the coldness of the glossy surface.

I could faintly hear how all the growling and moaning soon faded away and eventually there was pure silence left behind.

"Perfect! They're gone!" I cheered silently.

"Now hang on. We can't know for sure if they ALL left." Angie said in a lecturing tone.

"Well. Only one way to find out." I moved my hair out of my face once more and unlocked the door.

I imitated Shaylas previous movements earlier and peeked into the main room. Everything was completely destroyed and all over the ground.

On the bright side, there was no zombies in sight. I opened the door all the way quietly and took slow steps into the room. I held the umbrella in both of my hands, ready to swing just in case.

I kept walking forward, soon coming to the center of the room and looked all around me. "It's clear." I announced and they all came into the room with me.

The windows were shattered but the doors still somehow mananged to hold. I gave them way too little credit thinking they wouldn't hold back the mob of corpses.

"Let's move it! We have to meet up with Piper at the school!" Bianet announced and we all ran around, gathering food and water, and we pumped the gas into the van with no problems.

We all climbed into the van after having stored all the supplies in the back. Stephanie returned Bianet the keys to the van and we headed towards the school we once knew as Mission Oak.

Now... It was just another safe zone from our bloodthirsty attackers.
