Knock knock knock
I woke up and ran downstairs it was the ambulance. I opened the door, showed them her room and they took her leaving me behind.
A lady waited behind to speak to me
HER: "Hello, it must have been you that called, I'm Ashley." She said smiling at me
Me: "Hello Ashley can I go see my mum." I asked looking past her as the ambulance truck leave our driveway
Ashley: "wait, what's your name"
Me: "mum said I shouldn't talk to strangers, now can I go see her? "
Ashley: "I know but I'm not a stranger, I'm your friend"
Me: we just met how can we be friends
Ashley: "Am friends with all kids"
Me: "ok"
Ashley:" So can you tell me what happened to your mum"
Me: "I don't know actually" I lied
Ashley: "but did you see anyone come out of the house"
Me: "No I didn't see anyone"
Ashley: "what were you doing when you found her"
Me:"I was thirsty and I came out and I taught of her that maybe she would need water also cause I always got water for her and I went into her room and met her on the floor" ( with tears running out of my eyes)
Ashley: "Darrien I want you to do a favour for me"
Me: "yeah?"
Ashley: "I want you to follow Mrs Stevens to her house and stay with them till your mum comes back"
Me: "No but I want to go see her now" I said trying to run past her
Ashley: "Darrien we can't let you see her right now,so you really have to go with them. I will be back soon and you will see your mum ok" she said placing her hand on my shoulders
Me: "fine I will go" I sulked
Right on queue, Mrs Stevens came in through the front door, she hugged me first and then lead me into their house. I felt so exhausted I couldn't resist her, I just followed her knowing there was no way I could get to Mum without their help
