I didn't even have to think about this question thoroughly. My favorite male character is 100% Sebastian from Black Butler.
Ciel Phantomhive is a 12 year old boy who sadly lost his parents in a fire that destroyed the mason he had grown up in. His parents died on a night that was so dear and special to him, his birthday (I can't remember which birthday). A few years after his parents died, Ciel went to Sebastian offering his should to him if he served him until his greatest enemies where dead. Sabastian had now become Lord Phantomhive's butler, and would stay that way for many years to come. Even though Sebastian was a demon, he still really cared for Ciel, he wanted nothing bad for him. As the show grows you see how close Ciel and Sebastian become. Ciel depends on Sebastian to protect him from all dangers. Ciel is never scared, even while facing his biggest fears because he knows that Sebastian will always be by his side. Through out the show there are many different battles, whether it's Sebastian against Grelle, or even Sebastian vs an angel.
I have now currently finished the entire main series, but I've yet to see the spin-offs. I'm not sure if this is just a rumor or not, but I heard that he even has a brother. I'm really excited to find out if that's true because there were no signs what so ever of Ciel having a brother.
This anime has now become my second favorite anime, I'm saying second favorite because we all know that Demon Slayer is my favorite Lol.
