It broke my heart when Shouko attempted suicide in the movie A Silent Voice. This scene made me cry and it made me panic. I thought she was going to die. I couldn't wrap my head around the thought of her killing herself because everything leading up to that moment was so perfect and there weren't any signs of suicidal behavior.

This scene really made me think about how many people gave hidden signs before they took their own lives. Something as simple a noticing a look can save a life.

This movie was overall super inspiring and eye-opening.

I highly recommend this movie to anyone who isn't thinking about suicide, and if you are thinking about suicide please, talk to anyone.

Suicide isn't a joke... My father committed suicide when I was younger, or maybe it was an accident, I'm not quite sure, the situation is complicated.

This movie is about a young boy named Shoya and a young girl named Shouko.

It was a regular day of school when Shoya and his classmates were introduced to a new student named Shouko.

When Shouko introduced herself to the class she didn't speak, instead, she took out and notebook and asked the class to get to know her through that specific notebook because she was infact deaf.

Everything started out really well, the class was having so much fun getting to know her through the pages of the notebook, but as time moved, she started getting bullied, each day worse than the other. Most of the bullying was initiated by Shoya. The bullying and aggressiveness eventually got so bad and dangerous that she ended up transferring to a different school.

Fast forward many years later, Shoya wants nothing more than to apologize to Shouko for his behavior in grade school.

Throughout the movie, you witness Shoya and Shouko start to build a bond that will most likely end in marriage.

Throughout this movie, you also witness Shoya become an amazing human being, and you also witness him crawl out of his depression and anxiety.

I rate this movie a 10/10. It was so touching, and I can't say anything other, GO WATCH THE MOVIE RIGHT NOW! It doesn't matter what you're doing, so stop doing it and watch the goddamn movie... I said NOW!

 I said NOW!
