I knew from the start that Calvin had a girlfriend, yet I couldn't help but wonder about all the things he said and done to me. I guess they meant nothing not until he said that he'll break up to her for me.

His words didn't let me sleep that night. Magdamag akong dilat dahil sa mga katagang binitawan niya. I'm not sure if I'm going to believe what he said so I did the easiest thing to do — I avoided him these past few days.

"Good morning, Charm," Kuya Owen greeted, he's stretching his arms and yawning a bit.

I smiled at him. "Good morning, kuya."

"Wow, ang bait mo naman. Maka kuya ka parang ang tanda na ni Owen," ani Calvin, nang aasar.

Nagulat ako sa pagsulpot niya sa likod ni Kuya Owen. I bet he's going to run with us because of his outfit. Well, I could just avoid talking to him but I couldn't just let him pass this time.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "What? Do you want me to call you kuya, too?"

"What? No!" natatawang sagot niya. "Is that how you greet me a good morning? Pagkatapos mo akong iwasan," nakangusong dagdag niya.

Hindi ko alam na napapansin niya pala ang pag-iwas ko sa kaniya.

"Let's go, baka mag away pa kayo sa harap ko," pagsingit ni Kuya Owen at tumuloy na sa paglalakad. Maybe he feels the tension between me and Calvin.

Pairap kong tinalikuran si Calvin.

"Ay, attitude! Ganda ka?" aniya dahilan para mapaharap ako. He smirked and got satisfied with what I did.

"Oo!" singhal ko sa kaniya bago tuluyang sumunod kay Kuya Owen.

"Maganda nga," bulong niya na hindi ko na naintindihan.

We ran in silence. Hindi na ako muling kinausap ni Calvin, maybe he knows that I'm a bit serious this time. I don't want any distraction when running that's why I didn't mind not having a conversation with them, especially Kuya Owen. But whenever we talk, it was always an interesting conversation, light but serious. Kuya Owen is mature, I felt that I am with my older brother every time that I'm with him. The memories I had with Kuya James suddenly flashbacks.

After we jogged, I went straight to my room. Sunday ngayon kaya wala akong klase. I decided to swim to ease my boredom. Mukha namang walang tao ngayon sa pool so I changed into a black one piece bikini and white cover up.

Natigilan ako nang marinig ang ingay sa banda ng pool, may tao pala ro'n. So I guess I'll just swim some other time. Gagawin ko na lang ang mga plates ko. Although I already finished my work, I could enhance them more.

Nakakailang hakbang pa lang ako pabalik nang may magsalita sa likod ko, causing me to turn around and faced him.

"Hmm... You want to take a dip?" Nathaniel asked in a monotone.

I swallowed hard. "Uh... Maybe next time."

Humalakhak siya kaya naestatwa ako sa kinatatayuan ko. His laugh stunned me. Get a grip Charmaine! He's years younger than you!

"Why? You're already dressed," he mumbled.

"Basta, nakakahiya kasi," sambit ko sabay yuko ng aking ulo.

He let out a small laugh. "C'mon, I'll teach you how to swim."

Napaangat ako ng tingin dahil sa sinabi niya. "Talaga?!" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko. He nodded and smiled at me.
