Chapter Two

#2 Dinner

(Y/N)'s POV

I was home at last, and I wanted to invite Tobio over for dinner.

Daichi had gave me a look like I was crazy.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't say anything." Daichi said as I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, but you have me a look." I replied back. "Besides, mom and dad hasn't seen him yet." I tried making a point.

"Yeah, we want to meet her boyfriend Daichi. What's so bad about this guy?" Mom asks Daichi.

"Nothing is wrong, it's just.." Daichi knowing he can't get his point across just gave up. "Nevermind." Daichi sighed.

I squeal in excitement, and I look at my brother, mom, and dad.

"Don't embarrass me, by the way!" I shout.

"But that's the fun part!" Daichi yells, and I nudge his arm.

"Please Daichi." I beg my brother.

"Alright, fine." Daichi gave in. "I promise." He smiles.

After that Daichi,my mom, and dad started talking while I called Tobio.

"Hello babe, what's up?" Tobio picked up.

"Hey baby, I wanted to know if you'd like to come over for dinner tonight?" I asked.

"Of course, I thought you'd never ask." Tobio laughed.

"Great! Come over at 6:30!" I exclaim.

"Alright, see you then babe. I love you." Tobio said.

"I love you too, bye." I reply before hanging up.

"He already knows where we live!?" Daichi shouts.

"Uh.... Yeah.... I've brought him over while no one was home.." I scratch the back of my neck admitting the truth.

Mom, and dad both gasp I'm shock. I mean c'mon do they really think I haven't brought him here while they were gone?

"Why am I not surprised..." Daichi sighs, and shakes his head.

"Just! Start preparing food for dinner!" I shout trying to change the subject.

"Oh right!" Mom shouts, as she goes to the fridge to get things out, then the pantry. My dad helped her as well.

"Your a naughty girl, (Y/n)." Daichi shakes his head in fake disappointment.

"Not like you hav-" I was stopped by him elbowing my stomach. "OWW!!" I shout loudly.

"Shhh!" Daichi shushes me, and I look at him with a mischievous smile. He then crosses his arms.

"Daichi!" Dad yells being the protective one over me. "Why did you hit your sister!" Dad got after him.

"She's living, so she's fine." Mom says being the person she is. I just rolled my eyes, and sighed.

"I'm going to go do something." I said bluntly, soon everyone realized my sudden mood change.

3rd person POV

"Look what you did Bethany!" Tadao shouts.

'Here we go again.' Daichi thought as he sighed and rolled his eyes.

(Y/N) on the other hand was writing in her diary.

"Can you guys just cook the food!! God damnit I'm tired of this!" Daichi shouts. "We were having a good time! If you'll excuse me, I'm going to check on my sister!" Daichi finishes.

The two parents stayed silent for a minute, they were a bit shocked too that their son had just yelled at them.

Daichi headed upstairs, (Y/N)'s bedroom door was opened. Daichi knocked and went on in to see (Y/N) set her diary down.

"You okay?" Daichi asks with concern.

"Mhm, I'm good! What makes you think I wouldn't be okay?" (Y/N) said with her voice a bit shaky.

"I.. nothing.." Daichi wanted to help, but he could tell his sister didn't want to tell him. "I'm going to go help with dinner. You know where I'll be if you need me." Daichi cautiously said.

"Mkay!" (Y/N) smiles as Daichi left the room.

She locks up her diary, and sets it under her bed where no actually checks.

She had plenty of crap under there anyway, like shoe boxes, old toys from when she was younger, and stuff from when she was a baby.

She went downstairs, and smelt something amazing. A little bit after she was down there, there was a knock on the door.

(Y/N) opens the door to see her boyfriend, Kageyama. She quickly gives him a big hug.

She was glad he was there, so she didn't have to deal with any fighting for the night.

He obviously hugged her back, they were both happy to be in each other's arms again.

Kageyama, and (Y/N) sat down at the table. They sat right next to each other, and held hands under the table.

Dinner was eventually set on the table, and the two lovers used their free hand they had to get the food.

During dinner everyone kept asking Kageyama questions.

"Guys give him some space." (Y/N) said knowing Kageyama was getting uncomfortable.

"We just want to know some questions." Bethany said. "We want to know if he's safe!" She shouted.

"He is!" (Y/N) shouts.

"Well how do we know!" Bethany yells back.

"HE IS!!" (Y/N) shouts and everything went silent.

"I believe you." Tadao said after everything was silent for a minute.

"Tobio, and I are going upstairs." (Y/N) says as they both throw their plates away, and head up the stairs to (Y/N)'s room.

Kageyama's POV

(Y/N) led me up the stairs to her room. She slammed the door closed, and locked. Then she started freaking out.

"Hey calm down (Y/N)." I said trying to calm her down.

She was breathing really heavily still.

"I can't! I don't und-" During her rant I kissed her. She kissed back, I wanted her to let it all out. Not like this though.

I couldn't think of anything other than to kiss her, so that's what I did.

"Why did you do that?" (Y/N) asked.

"Because I could handle your bickering, I want you to be happy." I reply.

"Thank you." She said with a soft smile.

"Anytime."
