#7 Let's Talk

________________________

(Y/N)'s POV

Ever since the night I was talking to Nishinoya, Tobio's been so strange. I didn't even know what his deal was with Nishinoya.

Today I was going to talk to him, see what's up but first... I had to deal with Daichi.

I was coming back home, and I was worried and all for going back. Because of Daichi.

Why? Well.... A few days ago, I got call from Daichi. I kept something a secret from him.

*Flashback*

I get a call from Daichi, I wasn't planning on answering but I did.

"Hello?" I said.

"(Y/N), why didn't you tell me?" Daichi asks with a while lot of concern.

"Uh, tell you what exactly??" I asked with confusion.

"About your knees." Daichi sternly says.

"Uh... Oh, that..." I start getting worried, and fidgeting with my hands. "Look, I wanted to tell you.." I say.

"Tell me everything when you get back home, it'll be better to talk in person." Daichi said.

"Mm... Yeah... Bye," I was annoyed, I knew my dad told him about it.

"Bye, I love you." Daichi replies before I hung up.

*End Of Flashback*

I sighed as I walked home. Of course I walked home because Tobio was being a dick.

I love him to death, but god. I would never do anything to go behind his back.

'Does he maybe think I'll-' My thoughts were interupted by a message from Nishinoya.

I let out a sigh of relief, I thought he was going to keep me back.

I then continue to walk home.

After a while I finally got home, and first faced Daichi when I opened the door.

"Oh hey, Daichi." I say.

"Hey." Daichi pulls me into a hug, I roll my eyes, and don't hug back. "What's going on?" He asked.

"I dunno." I shrug, and try to walk away.

"I'm trying to talk to you, you can't avoid the topic forever." Daichi grabs my wrist. "Please?"

I groan wanting to avoid the topic, but at this point I knew I couldn't. Daichi lets go of my wrist as we both head to the living room.

"So what's this supposed to be about?" I play dumb.

"I know, you know." Daichi's voice was stern.

I take a deep breathe, and roll my eyes. I sit, and look at him saying absolutely nothing.

"You going to talk about it?" He asked, and I shrug. "Use words."

"I obviously don't want to share with you." I say, obviously annoyed.

"If she doesn't want to share with you..... You should respect that..." My dad joins the conversation. "I'm the ONLY person she's shared with."

"Why did you tell me about it?" Daichi asks.

"Because you were getting upset with her because she couldn't be a manager. Believe me, she wants to. She really does, she even wants to play a sport herself." My dad explains.

"I'm worried about her..." Daichi responds.

"Dad, you can tell him. I don't feel like it, and I obviously can't share." I got up, and left to my room.

Daichi's POV

I was trying to be understanding, but I'm an protective brother trying to care for my sister.

"So what exactly happened...?" I ask.

"Your sister got this rare disease in her knees... Out of billions plus more people, she was one of the unlucky. Only 1% of the people in the world ever get this disease." My dad responds.

"Does she still have it...?" I ask another question.

"Unfortunately, yes..." My dad answers.

"How long..... How long has she had it, and when did she get it!?" I yell.

"She got it during a really bad game of Basketball....... things got messy, she fell on her knees........ This was about 7 years ago." Dad replied.

"Okay...."

"Please, don't say anything to your mother, your friends, or anyone. Don't even bring it up to (Y/N). She will kill you." Dad warned.

"Okay,okay I won't. I promise." I nodded.

"I'm going to go check on her." Dad says.

"I'll come with you-" I was cut off.

"No, you won't. She probably doesn't want to talk to you, it's best if you stay here." I was told by my dad.

I stay silent as I watched him leave the room to go check on my sister.

(Y/N)'s POV

I hear a knock on my door, my door was a bit cracked.

"It's dad." Dad said.

"Oh, come in." I invited him in.

He came over and sat next to me on my bed, I sighed.

"Are you okay?" Dad asked.

"I'm fine since I don't have to talk about that topic." I replied, and smiled.

"Good, good. How are things with Kageyama Tobio?" Dad asked another question.

"Things are great!" I lied, I hated lying but it was my only option.

"Good, I'm gonna go." He smiled, and headed out.

"Goodbye dad."

"Bye (N/N)."
