he's on the floor. hoseok attempts to stand back up like he's trained himself to do, but he can't move a muscle. you can hear him gasping for air. he reaches out for his phone but he can't even see it anymore.

his lungs feel like they're bursting into flames. his throat is burning and looking for oxygen, but the bloody petals fill his airwaves. he's never felt like this before.

then knocking. he hears knocking. his thin, unstable oak door sounds like it could burst any second. there's banging on the door. it's getting louder- he can feel the door's vibrations on the floor he's lying on.

the door opens and a crack of light shines onto hoseok's face. footsteps, he hears them too. then a voice. a worried, shouting, crying voice. he doesn't know what the voice is saying, but he knows exactly who it is.

then he closes his eyes to rest for a bit.

he opens his eyes again, and he isn't in his room anymore. there's a mask over his nose and mouth and he can feel his breath fog over the plastic. there's a bag of his blood hanging to his left and three women in long white coats are rolling him on a gurney through a crowded hallway. he feels his stomach churn and with ever crack they roll on, the pain in his chest bursts again.

the bright white strobe lights of the hallway strain his eyes but he can't look anywhere else. chatter, so much chatter. there's too many sounds and hoseok can't pinpoint a single sound. his head hurts.

he can feel himself choke up and his throat becomes tighter than ever. his hand reaches out for his neck as he continually tries to gasp for air, yet nothing reaches him. the nurses are rolling faster now, the bumps are faster and sharper leaving burst after burst in hoseok's chest.

he can't handle it anymore- there's too much pain and he can't handle it. he can feel the blood going to his brain and his arms go numb. his only means of air is blocked and he feels his ears block out too, as if he was submerged in water.

he's tired.

so, so tired.

he closes his eyes and finally sleeps.
