"You're perfectly wrong for me
All the stars in the sky could see
Why you're perfectly wrong for me
Oh, you know how much it hurts
Every time you say you hate me
But when we're makin' love, you make it worth it
Can't believe the places that you take me"
- Shawn MendesI've been running around town nonstop since I got off my flight to meet with my manager and lawyer to finalize this movie deal and filming schedule. Brynn hasn't responded to my text from earlier, but I don't expect her to. She's been ignoring me since she left my hotel almost a week ago which is why I decided to just come back home. If I wasn't communicating with her then there was no point of me being out there, and I got tired of stringing that nigga Moses along.
I'll just have to find another way to talk to her about the custody stuff with Lisa. In the meantime I'll have to hit Lisa with another ten bands so she'll keep Brae a little bit longer. The last thing I want to do is give her more money, but I don't really have a choice right now. My hands are tied until I can explain the situation to Brynn. With my schedule it's impossible to keep Brae full time.
"Dre isn't here." I spoke to Destiny when I seen her standing on my porch with her hands on her hips.
"Oh I know where my husband is. Do you know where your daughter and baby mama are by chance?"
"They should be at home, but I ain't talk to them today to confirm. Why?"
"Because that bitch dropped your child off at my sister's office today. My sister is freaking out. Why does she even know where to find my sister? I'm so upset with you right now!" Before I could stop her, her arm swung out as she sent a quick jab to my shoulder.
"I texted Brynn hours ago. Why wouldn't she call me and let me know something like this had gone down?"
"Maybe because you aren't her go to person anymore. You know more than anyone what Brynn's been through in life and you're just adding onto her pain. She had to go back to therapy because of you. Do you know that? You're breaking her down."
"I didn't mean to. I just wanted to give her a baby. That's all." She jabbed my arm again, then tried for a third time but I smacked her hand away. "Stop hitting me."
"Gabe, you paid that lady fifty thousand dollars. Don't you know for an extra ten thousand you could have just gotten a real surrogate." I furrowed my eyebrows, confused on what she thought Lisa was.
"Lisa was my surrogate."
"Not that type of surrogate. I don't know what world you live in, but you're not supposed to fuck your surrogate to get them pregnant."
"What type of surrogate are you talking about then? That's the only way you can get someone pregnant, Destiny. You have a child, you should know this already." She rolled her eyes and began tapping her foot aggressively on the porch. I could tell she wanted to hit me again, but I'll swing back at her ass.
