I took the day off work today because I needed to pick up Darren and Sierra from the airport. They were both taking the week off school, which I was grateful for.
I needed a moment of reprieve from all the chaos.
I missed them so much, and I was so excited to spend time with them.

Their flight should be arriving in a few hours from LA.
Sierra and Darren are both seniors at UCLAband with the tight schedule of their senior year we haven't been able to spend much time together.

I stretched out my legs as the warm sudsy water sluiced over my body. It was the best feeling in the world.

And exactly what I needed after this hectic week.

Resting my head on the edge of the tub, my thoughts drifted back to Kieran and the events of this morning.

I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that he blackmailed me into signing that stupid marriage contract.

It was over, there was no getting out of this...not as long as he still had that picture of me.

Just the thought of it all made me see red. I hate him and I'll never forgive him.

How could he do this to m
Why does he want to marry me so badly?

It makes me sick that I just have to let this happen..,

He has turned me into someone I could hardly recognize. He's made me weak.
I was never weak.

Just in a few weeks, he's broken down the walls I'd built around myself all these years.
He owns me, and he knows it.

Well, he might own my body on paper, but he'll never own my heart.

My thoughts drifted back to last night.
Just recalling the way he played my body last night, made me suck in much-needed air.

He was so fucking good, I could scream.
Of course, he is good in bed, he was too arrogant by far not to be...
The thought made me scoff in annoyance.

"Well At least our sex life won't be boring" I muttered sarcastically.

A few hours later, I picked up Sierra and Darren. I opted to drive instead of asking bailey.

"Are you okay?'"Darren suddenly asked during the drive home, he was next to me in the passenger seat. His brow was furrowed in concern.

Darren was usually the laid-back go with flow type of person. The fact that he even bothered to ask could only mean I didn't look as composed as I thought I did.

I looked at Sierra who was seated at the back through the rearview mirror. Her phone was glued to her face as usual. She didn't seem to care about whatever we were talking about.

"I'm okay," I answered with a smile" Why?"
"Nothing really, it's just you seem...a little out of it," he said with a shrug.

"Don't worry about me, I'm ok" I smiled

"Your locks are so long now" I added, in an attempt to change the topic of discussion.

"Oh yeah," he laughed fingering a lock of his hair
"This coulda been you too if you hadn't cut yours," sierra said from the back, finally adding to the conversation.

"You know I would have gotten sick of it of it and cut it eventually" I rolled my eyes, laughing
"I just wanted to try something new when I first got my hair locked, it was fun for a while"
"I might still do it again someday" I added.

We laughed and talked all the way home, and it made me realize how much I missed spending time with them.

Sierra and Darren were twins, and they've been my responsibility for the past fifteen years.

I was damn proud of how far they've come and proud of myself for being able to do right by them.

Hi guys! Something came up, so I couldn't update yesterday, but I'll be dropping this short part. So Enjoy, I'll be updating later today to make up for the length.
