" ADVITI" THE PRINCESS WHO BEHEADED 1000 PRINCES

chapter 4.3: Admirer who turned into foe.

The guards started  blowing shankhas ( a shell of sea mollusc ) making sounds letting audience in the amphitheatre know that the dual will begin  now.
            The commander & the princess stood straight in their respective positions holding sword and shield in their hands . The commander looked at the princess with eyes that are full of desire to have her in his arms .He then winked his left eye and blew a flying kiss provoking the princess to initiate the dual .
        
       Commander Nakul was a good man who was highly ambitious . He was a patriot to his king and kingdom which made him to join army .He joined army as a normal guard at the age of 14 he then with his hard work and determination grew up and arose to this position. He is so dear & loyal  to king  that king  made his chief commander of royal army .He escorted king in many wars and fought many wars for the king and helped the king in expanding  his kingdom from a small city state to a mighty kingdom .He used to escort king while king used to pay visits to Prashant Bhavan ( abode of saint ) to visit princess . It was at that time he fell in love with  the princess because of her extreme beauty which can only comparable to goddesses and fierceness which only made her irresistible for a man  like him.Her eternal beauty accompanied with ferocious character made him obsessed for her. Every time he tried to pursue she used to reject him even then he didn't quit the thought of pursuing her .It grew to the extent that he want her for his life he wanted her as his consort .He never had  any ambition for throne of Andhra he simply fell in love with her nothing is valuable more than her. His obsession for her grew with pass of time.
        Suddenly a clanging sound entered his ears dragging him to present. Adviti started to strike with a great pace making it difficult for him to strike an attack on princess . Princess pushed him into defense . watching the scene people started to hail for princess shouting her name ,"Princess Adiviti Princess Adviti......,".king who is sitting in the gallery felt proud ,wondering how his small cute tender child grew up so fast and became so mighty.
          Hearing hails of princess made the commander exasperated ." I'm a man  had who defeated many great warriors how could I'm not able to strike an attack at a woman .She is really mighty and she can only have a mighty husband like him, he thought  to himself .with a great manly force he pushed his shield towards Adiviti pushing her few steps back . Nakul then started to strike attacks at Adviti showing her of his war skills . Letting her know how powerful and strong he is . She then took a few steps back which lead Nakul think that she couldn't able to withstand his powerful strikes so he slowed his pace she then retaliated with a great pace that Nakul couldn't expert from her letting him realize that she is much more strong than he expected. He then suddenly pulled his shield to stop the attack to defend himself but the pace was so fast that before he could pull the shield between the sharp edge of the  sword made a cut at his wrist making him to drop the shield .
      
      Looking at this ,"Hey king keertimaan ,see how skillful is your daughter ,you were worrying for her in vain .she is not an ordinary woman she can defeat anyone you didn't believe me now see for yourself " said saint .
        
   "Yes Maharshi it's all because of you .I always regretted for not having a boy now  I don't regret anymore as I have a daughter like her .She will be  the future  Queen of Andhra ", replied keertimaan .
       
       Looking at his wrist which is  bleeding Nakul aggressively hit back at the princess pushing her down making her fall on the ground. Adviti defending his strikes with her shield tried to get up from the ground .The commander pushing her shield closed to her body with his hand stopping  a strike with his sword from her .He bent down & looking into her eyes he said , "you think you really can defeat me I let you strike at me because I like you it's not because you are powerful.
I was a good man but you made me bad ,you made me go wild for you . Accept me as your consort be my queen you will be happy for your life.
     
         Those word  not only irritated  but also made her to lose her temper and control. She kicked him  in his abdomen with her leg  with great force  which pushed him back and made  him to lose his balance and eventually made him to fall on ground next to her.
       She stood and mounted an immediate attack with heavy strikes not even letting him chance to stand .
           He some how managed to stand he felt a temper in his head which he wasn't able to control he became wild that he forgot that it's a dual and the person standing before him is a princess whom he admire so much . He  is swinging sword like an insane person with a great pace .
           People who are watching suddenly stopped hailing ,king and queen stood and realized that something was wrong ,Queen told king to stop the dual . It no longer looks like a normal dual combat to show the skills . It's like a dual war .Both are fighting as if they want to take each other's lives .
        
       King immediately ordered guards to beat the drums .The guards started beating the drums even then they didn't stop  fighting. Nakul strike an attack with great force which hit the sword of opponent making her drop the sword . He didn't stop the attack princess defending his attacks with shield trying to grab the sword which was lying two feet next to her . suddenly the sword made a contact with her right upper arm making a cut on  there.
            
           King immediately ordered guards to pull Nakul away from princess .The guards with great force pulled him away and held him strongly.
