chapter 5 : Future queen of Andhra .

Inside king's chamber

  Next  day morning after dual  king called Nakul and Adviti in his chamber . Both Adviti and Nakul are standing adjacent to king's chair opposing each other .
       
      King stared at commander Nakul with his bloodshot eyes .He was deeply upset and disappointed by Nakul's behavior .He never thought that Nakul  would try to hurt " to be the queen" of Andhra. If someone  else did  that he would have had   his head decapitated by now but it's commander Nakul ,the person whom king trust utmost apart from his family . He couldn't believe what he saw yesterday .He thought his eyes betrayed him but the wound in the arm of princess made him  accept the fact that Nakul tried to hurt his daughter the only valuable  thing he has .
   
        King then spoke out breaking the silence in the room " Do you know why I made you royal army commander over many other well qualified , extremely skilled than you ? He question Nakul in a tone of disappointment .
  
         Nakul who stood looking down with loss of face raised his head and spoke I didn't mean to hurt princess. I couldn't control my rage at that time I forgot that I was facing princess. 
         
   Could not control yourself !?what do you mean by could not control yourself ? You are  the commander of royal army of the mighty kingdom Andhra and you were facing "to be the  queen of Andhra" and you say you couldn't control your anger. King shouted.
       
     Nakul who lost words remained silent looking  down at the floor.
If it was not you then I would have decapitated the person .you Know ?king added .
      
     Nakul spoke out in an apologetic tone and said I know I have done a blunder which is unpardonable but, whatever I did  it was in exasperation.
Now I'm despicable because of my mistake. I will accept any punishment you give my Lord .
     
       King without looking at him shouted get out of my eye sight .Nakul turned and went out as he heard the order from king.
       
    The king looked at Adviti and asked How is your wound my child ? Fine now father  replied Adviti.  King told her to  sit down as she was standing like a criminal before him .He then patted  her head with his hand  and moved his hand  and asked "what happened between two of you".
       
     Adviti looked down and said father it was me who first wounded him it was me who  broke the rule . King felt disappointed and said my child you are a grown up now and you will be the future Queen of this kingdom and you should follow the rules and laws .If the queen herself break the rules and laws how will people obey rules and laws ? Princess apologized and asked his permission to leave . King moved his head and let a hmm sound .she got up and went out.

    
     Aakriti who was standing outside waiting for princess saw princess coming out .They began to walk towards Adviti chamber .while moving out Aakriti  looked at Adviti who was silent and asked "what happened inside ? Why is your face dull ? Adviti told everything that has happened inside the chamber & during duel .
             Adviti became stunned and asked astonishingly "why didn't you tell king about him . Our father would have beheaded him if you had told him about this" .

      Adviti let out a deep sigh & said ,"I know father would definitely punish him if I had told him about Nakul .
But Nakul is not a normal man he has the support half of royal army .It will only lead to rebellion and our peaceful and prosperous kingdom will run into chaos .It would be better if we wait for the right time to punish him. Aakriti became stunned hearing to Adviti & said "half of the army is under his control ! How could he even managed to do that &how come  father don't know all about this" .

     Father blindly trusted him & gave him free hand  in dealing army and defense matters which resulted in the situation we are in  today replied Adviti .
    
     Aakriti let out a sigh and said"  how do you know about all these ? Seems like before even  becoming queen you are maintaining your own intelligence haha  laughed  Aakriti mocking Adviti .Adviti smiled and replied " it's all because  of saint " Bala Maharshi he taught me political science while I was getting trained. He is like a god for me .
     
    Aakriti laughed and said Mockingly  so we are going to have a queen who blindly believe in a saint . As Adviti was about to reply her they reached Adviti's chamber and saw queen kadambi waiting for them .
