Story where it's been a few years since the Ninja have seen each other in person. Basically an au where they end up going their separate ways, now Nya teaches at a elementary school (years 1 to 6 for my British friends). Enjoy this one shot!

And this is for Eliza_Cameron 's Lloya cult

Nya had just finished her physical education class at the local Ninjago elementary school, it was an easy job to get after her years spent at college and her old reputation as a Ninja. She sat in her office and looked at the many pictures of her and the others, she couldn't believe it had been over four years since the team was together.

She glanced at one of the pictures on her desk and smiled at the memory. Pixal had taken the photo, Carter had somehow convinced everyone to hold him up off the ground, but the other photo that made the day memorable was the picture Skylor had taken of her and Lloyd's first kiss.

The office phone rang, pulling Nya out of the happy memory. She quickly grabbed it and put it up to her ear.

"Miss Smith's room, how may I help you," Was her fake cheerful response, no one responded, "Hello?"

"Found you," a voice said and a brown haired man's head popped down from above.

"Carter!" Nya almost screamed when she saw him, "God, you nearly gave me a heart attack. What are you doing in my office?"

"This is your office," He looked around at it in disgust, "who knew the famous Water Ninja would become a teacher."

"Well being a Ninja doesn't exactly pay, plus my Ninja days are behind me," Nya gathered up the papers on her desk that she would need to look at later.

"Even Lloyd," Carter said after leaping off the ceiling and dropping onto the floor, "cause something tells me you still haven't moved on from that kiss."

Nya took a deep breath before standing up and looking at Carter, "Yes, even Lloyd. That was just a foolish crush of mine. Why are you even here?"

"Kai hasn't told you," Carter asked, sounding more conserned about her.

"Told me what?"

"Oh," He whispered, realization coming over him, "He's not the one doing it, you are."

"Doing what, Carter." Nya demanded.

"Pushing everyone away," Carter said,"Seliel and I got some of the team back together, we've been able to ask everyone except you. You're are hard person to find."

"That's the whole point of blending in," Nya said calmly, "not being found. And no I don't want to join the team again."

"I didn't expect you to, not many of the others have, Kai included," Carter said, he pulled a crumpled sticky note out of his pocket and offered it to her, "just in case you need anything."

She groaned but took the note, knowing that it would end up with her anyway. Nya started to walk out but her curiosity got the best of her.

"Who else has-" She turned around to ask but he was gone, "joined." She sighed but couldn't help but smile at Carter's familiar antics.

She fixed her purse around her shoulder and walked out. She walked out the now empty halls of Ninjago elementary, a relief from having to teach roudy kids all day.

"Nya," Gracie, one of the people who worked at the front office, came up to her with some papers, "you have a teacher assistant coming on Monday, you did say you wanted someone to help in PE."

"Yes, this will be a good distraction," Nya said, almost to herself.

"What happened this time," Gracie asked.
