June 9th
The entire team has been sitting in the locker room all damn day. Nervous as hell, excited as shit, pumped as fuck. We're taking this cup home, period. Coach has gone over hundreds of game plans and strategies, there is no way we're losing. Another plus, Brielle is going to be up in the box with Addison and the kids. The showoff in me can't wait.
"Yo, Addison is here I'll be back." Houston jumped off the bench from next to me and went running for the door. If Addison was here, that meant so was Brielle. Fuck if I jumped up and ran to the door too.
Seeing her in person was like seeing an angel. It sounds so stupid coming out of my mouth, I get it, but shit. Her pictures did not do her a tiny bit of justice at all. I'm standing in the doorway in only a pair of shorts, she looked up and watching her eyes rake down my body had me smirking hard.
"Here I thought you were going to bail on me."
"Here I thought when we first saw one another in person you'd have more clothes on." I put my hand to my chest, acting hurt.
"In my defense, I swore we wouldn't see one another till after. I have to say I'm mighty dapper in my suit." I gave her a wink and a smile then walked up next to her and leaned against the wall.
"You're ridiculous." She said looking down at the floor. I let out a small chuckle.
"You are even more beautiful in person." I shrugged and put my hands in my pockets. "Be even better if you were wearing my number." I let out in a breath looking around innocently. When my eyes locked back on hers, she was still biting that damn lip.
