Catradora (Highschool AU) ON HOLD!

New girl

(quickly wanted to say that this is kinda like an high school AU but yea. I'm sorry if it's a bit rusty, its currently 8am in the morning and I haven't got any sleep yet but I hope you like it :D )

Adora's POV*

It was Monday morning and I had to get ready for school. I had a pretty bad headache since I was up all night studying for a math test that I have this upcoming Thursday. I only manage to get like four hours sleep. I tried putting my clothes on and brush my hair and put it up in an signature ponytail. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and headed downstairs to say goodbye to my parents and then lock the door. I got into my car and starting driving off to the school. When I arrived I saw Glimmer and Bow waving me. I got out of my car and walked towards them. "Hey guys" I said smiling. "Have you heard of the news?" Glimmer asked. "No, what's up?" I responded looking confused. "Apparently we're getting a new student and from what I heard she's a trouble maker" Bow answered. ''Oh, okay. I guess I'll stay out of it then'' I said while walking towards history class. I sat down and open my bad and brought out my notebook and a pencil and started taking notes from the board. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I didn't think much. The teacher reached out for the door and opened it and there was this new girl. 'Wow, okey. She's pretty. like really pretty' I thought to myself. Without even noticing I was now starring at her. She then locked her eyes with mine and I quickly looked away blushing lightly. ''This is our new transfer student guys! her name is Catra and got transferred from Horde High. I want you all to make her feel welcomed'' The teacher said. Everyone nodded including me. ''Oh Adora, I almost forgot. You're the student council president right?'' The teacher asked. ''Yes that's right'' I said. ''Great, why don't you show Catra around then after school'' The teacher asked. ''Urm, yes sure'' I said peeking over to Catra. ''Great. There's an empty seat beside Adora'' The teacher said pointing at me. ''Adora huh? cute  name'' Catra said while walking to the seat next to me. ''Thank y-you. Yours too'' I said 'Why am I stuttering?' I asked myself. 

Anyways the class went on and nothing special really happen. All I was thinking about was the end of the day to show Catra around. I don't know why but it felt exciting. ''There's this upcoming projects guys! I want you to find a partner who you can work with and this project has to be done next week on Friday' The teacher yelled. 'Next week on Friday?? but I already have a math test that I have to study on. Also who am I gonna work it? neither Bow or Glimmer is in my class, I'm screwed' I thought to myself looking down in my notebook. ''So blondie, wanna be partners?'' Catra asked. I looked over to her brushing slightly. ''Urm, I mean. If you want to then sure'' I manage to spit out, 'Did she just called me blondie?' I asked myself. I could feel myself blushing. ''Great'' She said smirking. ''S-so are we gonna study at your house or min-'' before I could finish my sentence Catra said ''Your house'' almost like she didn't want me to come over to her place. I quickly brushed it off and said ''Oh, o-okay. My house it is'' I said. 

*DIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*

The bell rang and I started to pack my things. I left the class room and I could feel Catra trailing behind me. Before we went our separate ways Catra said ''See you after school blondie. I'm looking forward to be guided by you'' winking at me. ''Y-yea cool'' I said almost fainting. 'Did she just winked at me?! oh my god' I thought to myself while going down the stair making my way to art class. 

*Time skip to the end of the day*

I went to my locker and brought out my bags and closed it. I walking to the entrance of the school seeing Catra leaning over to a wall waiting for me. ''Hey blondie'' she said. ''My name is Ado-'' she cut me off and says ''I know, but blondie suits you more'' smirking. 'ugh, whatever' I thought to myself. ''So are you gonna show me around or what?'' she said looking me at me. ''Oh, yea of course. Follow me'' I said and started showing her around. While showing her around she asked ''So, gotta boyfriend'' calmly. I almost choked on her question. What question even is that? The fact that she was so straight about it made me blush. ''N-no not really'' I stuttered. ''Is there anyone you like?'' she asked. 'Dang whats with all these personal questions?' I thought. ''No, I'm not really into guys'' I said blushing lightly. ''Oh. So you're into girls?'' she asked in a surprise tone and blushed lightly. ''I guess you could say that'' I said looking away. After that we both stayed quiet but I kept on showing her around. ''Alright there we go, that's everything'' I said. ''Okay, thank you for showing me around'' She said. ''No problem. Anyways I should probably go now, its getting late'' I said while slowly walking off. ''See you tomorrow, Adora'' she said walking off. 'This was the first time she called me by my name and not blondie' I thought while getting into my car and driving off. When I got home I took a hot shower and then changed clothes and went down to have some dinner. After I finish I placed my plate in the sink and went upstairs to my room and plunched myself on the bed thinking about Catra. There was something about her that made me have a such an interest in her. I don't really think she's that bad everyone's been talking about, or I don't think so. She was nice to me. Last thing I thought about was Catra saying my name before I dozed off.

(First chapter complete. I'm not sure how I feel about that's why its a bit short. But I promise that the next chapter will be longer. Also I'll be uploading new chapter once or twice a week since I have other projects and stuff that I need to do. Anyways I hope you liked this chapter)
