The Party

Catra's POV*

I starred at Adora while she was walking away. I could see the sadness and disappointment in her face. 'Why did you say no you dumbass, now she's gonna think I'm ignoring her or something' I thought. ''I am really confused right now. Why did you lie to her?'' Scorpia asked. ''B-because I don't know okay! I freaked out so I just came up with something'' I said while blushing. ''Ohhh, you like her don't you?'' Scorpia teased. ''N-no! Shut up'' I yelled while Scorpia laughed. ''So why don't you?'' Scorpia asked. I looked at her confused, ''What?'' I said curiously. ''Why don't you go. She looked pretty hurt when you rejected her'' She said. ''I don't know, it's just a stupid party'' I said. ''Awww, cmon you can at least give it a try'' She said. ''Fine! but you're coming with me, there's no way I'm going there by myself'' I said. ''Yay! Party it is!'' she said.

(Time skip to Scorpia's house)

''It's about an hour left til the party begins, We should start getting ready'' Scorpia said and started to change to her dress. ''What are you waiting for get change, we don't wanna be late to a party'' Scorpia said and gave me a tux. I grabbed the tux and went into the bathroom and started to change. When I came back Scorpia's jaw was wide open. ''What? is it not looking good?'' I asked and started to panic. ''You look stunning! Adora will love it'' She said and cheerfully clapped her hands. I blushed and looked away. ''W-whatever, let's go'' I said, making my way to the exit.

Adora's POV*

Bow, Glimmer and I entered the party and first thing I notice was pizza boxes and bottles laying around and the loud music. We immediately got greeted by Sea hawk along with Mermista on the side. ''Hello guys! I'm so happy you guys came, right Mermista?'' He said and gently pushed her arm a bit trying to catch her attention. ''Ugh, yea whatever. Drinks and food are by the kitchen, toilets are upstairs, have fun'' She said and dragged Sea hawk with her by the arm. Bow, Glimmer and I looked at each other for a moment, ''So drinks anyone?'' asked Glimmer. ''Oh me!'' Bow said with sparkles in his eyes. ''What about you Adora?'' she asked and looked at me. ''Oh no, I'm fine. You know I don't drink'' I said. ''Ugh, cmon Adora. let loose a bit and have fun'' she said and playfully knocked my arm. 'I'd have some fun if Catra was here' I thought. ''Adora, you okay?'' Glimmer asked with a concerned look. ''Yeah totally'' I said with the fakest smile I could put on. ''You wish Catra was here don't you?'' Glimmer asked. ''Whaattt?? pffttttt no'' I said and laughed awkwardly. ''You are honestly the worst lier ever. But hey, don't think about that now. Let's have some fun, right bow?'' she said and looked over at Bow. ''Yeah! Best friends squad time!'' he yelled. ''Fine, go grab us some drinks now before I change my mind'' I said and Glimmer went to the kitchen. It was pretty hot and crowded inside but didn't think much of it. Bow and I chatted for a bit before Glimmer came back with some drinks. We all three sat down, talked, chatted, danced and have fun. I started getting a bit tipsy but didn't think much of it. At the time I almost completely forgot about Catra until Glimmer said ''Hey Adora, look over there'' She said and pointed to the entrance of the house.

It was Catra, she was wearing a dark red tux and she'd fix her hair a bit. 'Damn Catra, Your so ho-' I thought but quickly snapped out of it when I saw Scorpia walking beside her. 'Wait, didn't Catra say she was busy hanging out with Scorpia? is this what she meant when she said they'd be having out? Why didn't she just tell me she was coming to the party with Scopria?! and she's going with her instead of me?'' I though with a hit of jealously and anger inside of me. ''I thought you said Catra was busy doing something else?'' Bow said. ''I guess I was wrong'' I said with a jealously look on my face. ''Ouhh, someone is jealous'' Glimmer said and playfully knocked my arm. ''Whaat no! I just don't understand why she wouldn't tell me she was coming to the party with Scorpia instead she lies'' I said. ''Don't worry, it's not like they're together or anything and hey, we're here to have fun'' Glimmer said. ''Yea I guess your right'' I said even though I still thought about Catra. Hasn't she noticed me yet? should I maybe go and say hi to her? should I ask her why she lied to me? no no no. I'm not suppose to think about her. just forget about her. Before I even knew it Catra came behind me and said ''Hey Adora'' which made me jolt and spit out my bear ''Catra!!'' I practically yelled and turned around. ''Did I scare you blondie?'' she said and laughed, causing me to blush. ''N-no, anyways. What are you doing here? you didn't mention anything about going to the party with Scorpia'' I said trying to look as serious as possible. Her smile quickly faded away and she tried to avoid eye contact and rubbed her neck. ''Oh erm about that s-so I u-urm-'' I cut her off and said ''Lying to me?''. ''W-what no, its nothing like that I promise!'' she said and shaked her hands. ''Then what is it?'' I asked. She sighed and said ''I do wanted to go with you it's just when you asked me I got so nerv-'' she got cut off by Sea hawk standing on a table and yelling ''Hey there everyone! Let's have some fun by playing spin the bottle don't ya think!'', Everyone started yelling and screaming ''Yeah!'' with their fists up. Sea hawk was clearly out of it. how much did he even drink?. I looked over to Catra who had her hand out saying ''Shall we go, and let the real fun begin?'' in a teasingly tone. Even tho I was a bit mad that she lied I quickly brushed it off and took her hand and walked into a room with people sitting in a ring with a bottle in the middle of it. I saw Glimmer and Bow also sitting there. We joined them and sat down. we were 9 people in total, it was me, Catra, Bow, Glimmer, Sea hawk, Mermista, Perfuma, Scorpia, Netossa and Spinnerella ''Shall we start'' Sea hawk said and we all nodded. ''Whoever the bottles lands on have to kiss the person on the cheek who thinks is the most attractive one in this room'' he said and started spinning. It landed on Netossa, and she looked to Spinnerella and leaned in and kissed her on the cheek which made them both blush. ''Oh cmon, that one was easy, you guys are practically dating each other'' Perfuma said and crossed her arms. ''Oh you want some action? Whoever it lands on this time you have to kiss on the lips for at least 5 seconds'' He said and smirked. ''H-hold on, that's not what I mea-'' Perfuma got cut off by Sea hawk ''Too late'' He said and spun the bottle. It landed on Bow. Bow and Perfuma started blushing. ''That's an interesting one'' Catra said laughed a bit. I could see that Glimmer was caught up on it. Her face expression showed anger and jealously. I placed my hand on her back to reassure her it was only a game and it was nothing more. She immediately got calmer. Bow and Perfuma on the other hand just sat there and still hadn't kissed yet. ''Ugh, just get it over with already'' Mermista said and with that Bow and Perfuma kissed.
