We'd just moved into our new house, and today was mine and Mikey's first day. For Mikey, that was an opportunity to make a couple friends, for me, it was an opportunity to learn the names of all the jock shitbags who would inevitably make my life hell. What fun.

I didn't know how long it would take to drive, so I left early. Very early. We got there nearly an hour before school started.

At least it gives you time to prepare yourself, Gerard. I thought to myself - or I would've, if another kid hadn't walked through the gates and completely fried my brain. He had floppy black hair, skinny jeans, and a sws shirt on. And he was HOT. And probably straight. Shit. He came over to talk to us, and had the most nervous look on his face. I chuckled slightly and said "there's no need to look so shy - we don't bite!" He looked up at me - he was short, so he kinda had to - and my heart skipped a beat. He. Was. Fucking. Gorgeous.

And he had a nose ring. And a lip ring. One thought ran through my head: omigodfuckme. I shook my head, then asked what his name was. It was Frank, Frank Iero. What a name.

I introduced myself and Mikey, and we were talking about random shit when a tall kid with a 'fro burst in through the gates. His eyebrow was cut, and his cheeks were flushed. Frank cleaned up his cut and introduced the kid to us. His name was Ray, and he was in Mikey's year. I checked my watch: 20 minutes till school started. Frank tapped me on the arm and said "we can go in now if you want, I'll show you where you can pick up your planner." Damn he's cute I thought, then nodded at Frank. He took me and Mikey to reception, and then showed us too our homerooms, before dashing off to his own. Then the bell went, and hordes of bimbos and jocks filled the halls. I sat down in the seat the teacher directed me to, and tried to disappear.

Then, after register was done, and I'd been introduced to everyone - the only kid who I might like was a guy called Bob. Then I headed off to my first lesson: art.
