Allen could see his face clearly, even from the distance.

His eyes were half open, looking out lifeless and empty. His mouth was slightly apart, blood trickling out. Most of his head was covered in blood.

'Just a few hours ago he was alive and happy...He smiled amd waved. He was alive. Now he's-'

Allen's thoughts were cut short when he was yanked down by Lavi.

"Calm down, Allen. If we panic, we will probably end up dead. We gotta focus and get the hell out of here. Once we are safely away, we can call the police. Right now we gotta focus on staying alive to do anything. Can't call for help if we're dead." Lavi rationalized to Allen.

The white haired man didn't even realize he had started breathing faster. He was able to calm down thanks to his friend though.

Knock knock.

The two were greatly startled at the sound. Lavi ducked lower once more, putting his backpack on, while pushing Allen's into his chest, urging him to put it on.

Allen had other ideas.

He wanted to know the murderer's face.

'How else would they get tracked down by police. There won't even be a chance that they'll get caught if I can't even give a description.'

Allen inched his head up to the window, peeking out once more despite Lavi's panicked pats on his arm for him to stop.

He ignored the scene he last saw and just focused on trying to see who was at their door.

He saw a young man with short dark hair, a bandage wrapped around his throat, and he was fitted in a dark jacket with a fur trim. He noticed the man seemed to wear dark makeup around his eyes, and seemed to have tattoos across his forehead.

Allen tried to get a good look at the tattoos, but ducked when the man turned suddenly.

He heard a muffled shout. It seemed that the newcomer was yelling to someone behind him.

Knock knock.

Of course, the knocks went unanswered.

After a brief moment, they heard footsteps receding. Both Lavi and Allen let out a heavy yet quiet sigh.

Lavi glanced out the window just to make sure the man was walking away, before turning to Allen once more.

"Time to leave, Allen."
