The Wedding

~1-month time-skip 

~3rd person POV~ 

The sun was shining through the window they had onto the couch, its light reflecting off the glass table in front of it and into Tom's eyes. Tom woke up with a need to sleep more but not with the light. He slowly opened his eyes, trying to adjust them to the brightness. He slowly sat up in bed and stared at the wall, he eventually realized he had to get ready. 

~Tom riddle POV~ 

I went into the closet and came out with a green shirt and black pants. I quickly took a shower, put on my clothes, and sat down in bed gently playing with Harry's hair. I looked at the time, it was only 7:30 but I wanted harry to be awake with me. 

It was almost like someone had heard me because Harry's owl came through the window landing on the bed's edge. Harry immediately woke up. I took the letter from the owl and read it to harry 

How are you doing pup? Can you believe it Remus and I are getting married, we've already started decorating the venue. Well, you better come because its gonna be epic and it is today, also bring along Tom, Draco, and Pansy. I have to know how you and your future husband are doing. 

The last sentence threw me off guard, I blushed as I read it out aloud. To make me blush even more Harry kissed me on the cheek and ran off to the bathroom. I put my hand on my cheek and remembered how soft his lips were, I bit my lip trying to control my emotions. 

~Harry potter POV~ 

I wore a black shirt and pants, I came out of the bathroom to see Tom drinking something from a vile. 

"Isn't your adaptation complete?" I asked 

He frantically put it away in his pocket and nodded. He didn't say anything afterward and I decided not to ask him. I told him to go downstairs while I went to wake up Pansy and Draco. 

I entered their room, it was dark like the night. I slowly opened up the curtain and told him to wake up 

"Wake up Malfoy, we're going to my god father's wedding," I said, sounding enthusiastic. 

He continued to lie down in bed, unlike Pansy who was already deciding what to wear. 

"Or do you want to be turned into a ferret?" I asked him 

He sat up like a vampire with a look that screamed "NO, ANYTHING BUT A FERRET". I exited their room and joined Tom downstairs who had already fixed everyone's plate. I sat down next to him and started eating the food which was: Cheese toastie, Orange juice, Fruit salad, and Greek yogurt. 

Pansy and Draco joined us a few minutes later, Pansy was wearing a gradient black to a red shoulderless dress which, by the way, looked amazing. Draco was wearing his same old black suit

Of course, I didn't see her any more than a good friend I thought when I complimented her 

"You look pretty," I said 

"oh careful Harry, Draco's already got dibs on me" she replied with a mischievous smile. 

I looked over at Tom who was looking down at the plate, I held his cold hands and interwined my fingers with his. He looked into my eyes and then back at the plate. 

After finishing breakfast we apparated to Black Manor where the wedding was to take place, I was surprised to see Fred, George, Hermione, Neville, luna, Remus, Mr. Weasley, and Ginny helping around setting up the venue. 

"Harry! what are you doing here so early?" Sirius asked as he ran up to me. 

"Well, you didn't mention a time only said, "The weddings today". So here we are" I replied back 

He hugged me tightly and shook everyone else's hands. I separated from the others and went to talk with Ginny, much to Tom's dismay. I promised him I'd stay with him the entire day 

I walked up to Ginny and saw that her zip from the dress was loosening up

"Want me to zip you up? you know for old times sake" I asked

"Harry, uh yes, please. How are you?" 

"Shouldn't I be asking you that after our break up?" I said as I zipped her up 

~Flashback~ 

"Ginny" 

"Harry," we both said at the same time

"You first," I said 

"Harry, I don't know how to say this but I can't date you anymore... I'm gay." 

My eyes widened at what she had just said. A smile crept upon my face as I told her the same thing. 

"I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship" I heard Ginny say  

Surprisingly the others accepted my decision, other than Mrs. Weasley who was so upset that she was yelling at the top of her lungs that I have to date Ginny. I figured I shouldn't tell her about Ginny. Hermione and the others were defending and that's when Molly lost it. 

"FRED! EITHER DUMP HERMIONE OR GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE" Molly screamed at the top of her lungs 

Fred couldn't believe what he had just heard, he was struggling to answer his mother, but finally, he did 

"I'm choosing Hermione," he said bluntly leaving Molly shocked and on the verge of tears 

"Fine, Hermione, Fred, George, and Harry you aren't welcome here anymore. GET OUT!

~End of flashback~ 

"Well it was hard coming out to her but I did eventually, she reacted better than I thought" I heard Ginny say 

A smile spread across my face as I found out she was dating Cho now.  We lifted our wand and put the benches into their places. 

(The venue almost looked like twilight) 

~3rd person POV~ 

Altogether they were very happy with how the venue turned out, the sun shined down on them while the scents of lavender and roses floated in the air. Tom seemed to have gotten particularly close to George who was waiting for Angelina to arrive.
