Special Chapter 28 - Birthdays

How did Jori celebrate their respective 18th birthday?

Tori, André, Beck and Robbie were in the Black box theater waiting for the teacher that day. Tori was sitting next to André as she was talking "...I mean I get that Jade doesn't like birthdays but she is going to be 18 this year! We all are. I think we should arrange something for her, maybe a surprise party..."

"Yeah no." Beck told her

"Why not?" Tori asked turning to look at him

"Cause I don't think you want her to scare every guest away and then being mad at you for a whole week. Trust me I speak for experience. Remember her 16 birthday Dré?" Beck asked André

"I try to forget about it!" André said

"Robbie has still nightmares about it" Rex said from Robbie's lap 

"Oh come on, you guys are just exagerrating!" Tori exclaimed

"Exagerrating? Dude, try to remember how Jade was like before you two got together... And how she still is towards anyone else who isn't you!" André told her

Tori rolled her eyes "Look, my girlfriend is a sweetheart, she just doesn't like to show that side of her to other people. I mean, Beck, you must know!" Tori told him

"Yeah sure she can be sweet when she wants... but to be honest I think you rubbed off on her a lot ever since you're together. I mean in two years that I was with her I can't remember a single time that she bought me chocolate bunnies or flowers!" Beck said

"Beck! I told you that in confidence! If Jade finds out I told anyone about it, she might break up with me!" Tori joked giggling 

"Oh please have you seen how she looks at you? She is so in love, you could paint her room in pink and she still won't break up with you! Which says a lot cause when we were together we were breaking up almost every couple of weeks!" Beck told her

Tori smiled "She says she likes to be sweet to me, to make up for all the times she was mean when we were not together yet" 

"Wow that's true love!" André exclaimed

Tori giggled "I know. That's why I wanted to do something special for Jade! I'm madly in love with her!" 

"Yeah well one thing is for sure, she doesn't like birthdays. Or birthday presents. Unless you buy her something 'horror related'" Robbie said.

"I know one present Jade would certainly love to receive from Tori: some pu...!" Rex was saying

Tori slapped the back of Rex's wooden head and then Robbie's, glaring at him.

"Hey what did I do?" Robbie asked her

"I was going to say 'purse'! Damn girl, always thinking bad of me!" Rex exclaimed

"Yeah sure that's totally what you were gonna say..." Tori said sarcastic as she shook her had before continuing "Anyways, as I was saying... I want to do something special for her... Maybe a special date, just her and me since she doesn't like birthday parties? But what can I do to make it special? Maybe I can do something similar to Trina's birthday last year, when I sang a song for her... But I also wanted to do something a little romantic cause Jade is my girlfriend..." she was saying to André when suddenly she seemed to have come up with an idea. She clapped her hands together "Yes! André I need your help!"

"Sure, what for?" André asked

In that moment Jade and Cat entered the Black Box Theatre. So Tori whispered "We will talk about it later!"

"Hey baby! Hey Cat!" Tori greeted them

"Hey hey!" Cat greeted everyone giggling and bouncing to go take a seat next to Robbie
