Chapter 2- His secret

I have kept this a secret ever since we were in middle school. I haven't found a way to tell him. Even though it's just a hopeless dream. As long as no one are around , just let me dream. I was on my way to home holding my drawing in my hand.

"Didn't I tell you not to come looking for me?" I heard these words and as I turned around, guessed who it was. I see the one person I am least interested in seeing. It's Dylan. He was meeting a girl after school hours. Wow this guy sounds quite irresponsible too.

"I miss you a lot. I just wanted to see you. That's all." ,that girl said. She looks a bit old compared to us but, damn she is so beautiful even though she covered her face with a mask and sunglasses .

"But I'm worried about you. Aren't there a bunch of paparazzi around you all the time." He said changing his face expression from arrogance to innocence.
I hate this dude. Wait did he just say news reporters. Why would reporters be around her?

"Ahh..okay then. Don't forget to call okay?",she said with a worried face. But why reporters. Her sunglasses fell down. OMG. Guess who she is. She is one of the leading celebrities Morgan Brown. Wait, I never read about her being in a relationship. She might be older than Dylan. Of course she looks quite young but still. Wait, let me confirm if it's Morgan. I will just peek a little more. Wait when was I hiding behind this tree and eavesdropping at them.

"Who's there? Step out right now." He shouted as I was lost in my own thoughts. Damn I was way too careless. I not only suck at talking to people but I also suck at eavesdropping at people who are talking.

"Sorry,I didn't mean to eavesdrop..but you guys seem so worried..so..", I said stepping out onto the road. Damn why is my first day so messy. I meet this guy two times a day. Once he got to know my secret and then I got to know his.

"What did you hear, huh?" He said in a different tone. What do I do? He seems really upset. He starts coming closer.

"You have seen something you shouldn't have seen. What now?" He said in a sarcastic tone. This guy changes his attitude and tones like flipping pages in a book.
"I won't tell anyone. I swear." I said in a guilty tone. But he heard my secret also. Why can't I hear his secret? His face is so scary. Even an abductor would threaten me with a better face.

"Ha?" I was scared and dropped my drawing. It fell on the ground and opened. Shit! Why is my life so messy? Oh..no..no..he is looking at it. He has a smirk on his face. I have a bad feeling.

"Hey, isn't this Luke Jones? And next to him...you! Man you are such a little kid." He said with a face saying 'now what kid,say my secret you are screwed'. Crap, my clumsiness.

I have to pull the drawing sheet from his hands first. I bent forward pulling the sheet. But he held it tight. I was making frantic efforts to take it and then he pulled harder and it...it ripped into two pieces. Why does this happen to me? I have a half of a drawing with Luke in my hand and he has a half of the drawing with me in his hands. I couldn't control my tears. I won't be able to control them anymore.

"Hey, now you are not gonna cry right? He said with a heartless expression. This jerk....
"I would never shed a single tear, not in front of you. You are a terrible person.", i said out of anger controlling my tears back.

"Please, you are the one who tried fo snatch it from me. I don't feel like dealing with you. This is why sensitive girls like you who cry for everything are such a pain."he said turning back and going. I want to stab this person with a knife. I couldn't move from there. I stood there not understanding what to do.

"Hey",he came back. Literally how shameless are you. "I don't have any way to replace your drawing, but I do have a way to help you realise your dreams." What does he mean by dream.

"I will help you win Luke Jones over, and in exchange you will have to keep Morgan thing secret. Deal?"

"Haa..? Deal..?"
