Luciana:

A car came so fast from behind me. There was a puddle of water on the road. We were sitting quite opposite to it. I didn't know what to do.
Dylan came towards me with his jacket. He covered both of us with it. Thank god, everything is fine. But still, his jacket only covered our faces. Our legs were soaked in water. I should probably apologise him as his jacket is spoilt

"Even with all these dirty puddles, that guy's still driving so fast?" He said with a serious expression. Dude, he looks like another person with a serious expression. "Are you stupid or something? You didn't even see that car coming." He changed his face back to arrogance. I shouldn't have thought of apologising. This guy's speech is so nasty.

*~*

"Uh..you guys? How did you get so dirty..?" He asked with a dumbfounded expression.
"A guy was driving with his ass just now." Dylan replied. He was so pissed off. If that guy was here, I can guarantee him his death.

"Hey, Luke. Hey Lucy."
Wow, someone is shouting for us. Who might it be? I turned around. It was from Tiffany.
She ran and hugged me.
"I'm too busy in the student council that I don't have any extra time to hang out with you. I missed you." Wow, she is the first classmate who misses me other than Nev.
"Hey, Luke. I missed you too." She said turning towards Luke with a bright smile.
"Hiya!" Luke said waving his hand. I wish I could be such close with Luke.
She turned back towards me saying, " Anyways, I see you and Dylan are pretty close now, Lucy." She slowly whispered then, " He is pretty popular, you know."
"Ah..there's a reason for that." I didn't understand what to say. I mean, I can't say he is helping me talk to my crush.

"Hello, I'm one of Lucy's close friends, Tiffany White from class 1." She talks so comfortably with strangers also. I am so envious of her.
"Yo! How's it going?" He replied. These two people rock in communication skills.
"Ohh right, I'm throwing a birthday party next week. You have to come too, Tiffany." Luke invited her.
"Okay! I'm thrilled that you would personally invite me. Are you guys buying supplies for the party? Can I join you, too?" As she spoke. I felt myself fade in the background.
Dylan came near me and whispered, " Take notes, kid". I felt like sobbing. I suck at skills to talk to others.
Tiffany continued blabbering. "Your party's sure to have lots of people, right? After all, you're pretty popular at the school, Luke."
Luke started giggling and said, " Not really, Haha."
She always like that, no matter where or when she always so sweet and sparkly. I wish I could stand like that next to Luke.
I felt like my mood slowly became depressing. I was walking on the background seen nowhere important in the scene.
"Hey, it's a jewellery store. Let's take a look. Just leave all the stuff on the front counter." She grabbed Luke's arm and started pulling. I felt sad for myself. I am so jealous of her but couldn't do anything.

*~*
"Does this one look pretty, Luke?" Tiffany asked.
"This one's nice, too." Luke suggested to Tiffany.
"Yeah, it does." She smiled. She was so excited. She has a warm smile just like Luke.
The store manager came forward and said, "Your girlfriend has a good eye, nyoung man. This is our shop's top-selling product and it's on sale."
"Ah, um no... we are not." Tiffany cleared the misunderstanding.
"Oh, sorry" the store manager apologised.

"Hey, are you stupid? Why do you keep looking from here." Dylan whispered. This guy only knows how to make the mood worse. I can't count the number of times I've imagined being with Luke, but she can do it so easily. My heart...doesn't feel good.
"You need something special so that people will notice you." He kept a hair clip on my hair. It was a small rain deer. Cute!
"Now smile a bit, enough with that zombie expression." He started pulling my cheeks.
"Smile for me...c'mon, it takes more muscles to frown than smile. What, don't you know how to smile? Come on lu-ser."
This guy how dare he changed my name from Lucy to lu-ser. "..." I gave a small smile.
"That smile's way too deadpan, you dork." He continued making fun of me.
"Hee..hee." I started laughing with a frown.
Both of us continued making fun of each other in unison, " Heeheeeheeeheee..."

Tiffany was walking toward us.
"Lucy, did you get everything needed?" She shouted while Luke gave an expression as if we both lost our senses.
"Huh?" I asked seeing her basket. Did she decide to buy all the accessories in the store? So much. Toooo much.
"Then, I'll go and pay." She replied walking towards the counter.
Luke walked forward towards me. He touched the deer on my hair. "A little deer for Lulu  It looks pretty cute. It's not only pretty but also suits you the best." He just called me Lulu. God, it made my day. He said the deer looks cute on me. I am so happy."
"Thank you, Luke." I was trying pretty hard to control my face turning red.

With just a few words, he made my heart, which felt like it was slowly being crushed, soar like a bubble in sky...
It was like an explosion of happiness...
I turned back towards Dylan. I slowly signalled him by moving my lips-'Thank you so much!' and a bright smile. If it was not for the deer he gave, Luke would never say those words. I actually owe him this time.
Now, what should I buy for Luke's birthday next week?

—————

Dylan:

Seriously why the hell did I agree to this deal? I am going to a jewellery store with two stupid girls and a guy who behaves girly. God, bless me.
This girl has been so down from when Tiffany dominated her. She looks down. She needs so much help.

*~*

Let's give this deer to her. It would suit her and I am pretty sure Luke will notice it.
I slowly put the deer on her hair. I knew it. It suits her well.
"Now smile a bit, enough with that zombie expression." Probably I should make this girl smile now. Pull her cheeks still, she smiles properly. She is such a loser, she can't even talk to her crush properly, leave the topic of flirting.
"Smile for me, it takes more muscles to frown than smile. What, don't you know how to smile? Come on, lu-ser"
"..." she smiled as if someone kept a knife on her throat and threatened her to smile.
"That smile's way too deadpan, you dork." She seriously needs training for smiling too.
"Hee..hee.." she said with a frown. Crazy nitwit, are you trying to make fun of me. Let's see who wins.
"Heeheeeheeeheee..." we both continued laughing at each other.

Wow, Luke's coming. It's show-time. Let's get out of their way.
"
*~*

Plan succeed! Nobody can beat me in shipping to people together.
Why is this girl looking back?
'Thank you so much' she signalled to me with a smile.
Idiot, save that kind of warm smile for him. Tch.. a dimwitted girl, like her can play the role of a secret admirer, huh?
