"This Republic is failing!" Barriss yelled out "it's only a matter of time."
Chancellor Palpatine stood up from his seat, "Take her away." He said, almost sounding almost upset that Ahsoka was not found guilty.
Ahsoka noticed this but regardless She looked up at Anakin, and smiled after seeing the pure happiness on his face. Although it wasn't a true smile it was one hiding pain. Ahsoka knew what she had to do, even though she didn't think she had the strength to do it.
......................................................................................Ahsoka stood in front of the council, arms crossed.
"Ahsoka." Anakin started "I am so sorry...about everything." She could tell that apology was sincere, but he had nothing to apologize for. He stuck by her when no one else did and that meant everything to her. Although she didn't say any of this, she nodded.
Master Plo Koon was next to apologize. "You have my most humble apologies, little 'Soka. The council was wrong to accuse you."
"You have shown such great strength and resilience in your struggle to prove your innocence." Master Saesee Tiin said.
Master Ki-Adi-Mundi nodded in agreement. "This is the true sign of a Jedi Knight."
Master Windu spoke up next. "This was actually your great trial. Now we see that. We understand that the force works in mysterious ways, and because of this trial, You have become a greater Jedi than you would have otherwise."
"Back into the Order you may come." Yoda said and
Anakin smiled. "The Council is asking you back Ahsoka." He held out his hand, with her Padawan chain in it, "I'm asking you back."Ahsoka thought for a moment, everything inside of her wanted to grab that chain, become His Padawan again and end this nightmare. But the council didn't trust her now, what would make them trust her if something like this were to happen again.
Ahsoka placed her hand under her Masters and with her other she gently folded his close. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry Master." Ahsoka slowly let go of his hand "But I'm not coming back."
Ahsoka saw the Utter shock in his eyes but regardless turned and walked out of the Temple, Away from her friends, away from the only thing she's ever known and away From Anakin, who was like her father.
When she got to the front of the Jedi Temple and was about to walk towards the steps to leave but then she heard her name front called.
"Ahsoka, Wait!"
Ahsoka didn't turn back. If she did it would be to hard to walk away again.
"I need to talk to you!"
She did turn around this time, soon enough he would catch up to her and they would have to talk anyway, plus Ahsoka thought she owed him an explanation.
Anakin caught up to her and stood there in front of her. "Why are you doing this?" He asked.
Ahsoka sighed, "The council didn't trust me." She turned away from Anakin and crossed her arms "So how can I trust myself?"
"What about me?" Anakin asked "I believed you, I stood by you."
She unfolded her arms. "I know you believe in me, Anakin, and I'm grateful for that. But this isn't about you. I can't stay here any longer. Not Now."
Anakin shook his head. "The Jedi order is your life, you can't just throw it away like this, Ahsoka you are Making a mistake."
"Maybe." Ahsoka said, "But I have to sort this out on my own, without the council." She turned away, it was to painful to look at him anymore "And without you."
"I understand. More then you realize, I understand wanting to walk away from the order." Anakin said because he did understand, He wanted to leave the order a couple of time in his life, when he was younger he would miss his mom so much that he contemplated running away back to Tatooine it free her. And there were times he didn't want to leave Padme when he went on long mission, but he stayed.
She look at him in her peripheral vision. "I know." And with that she walked away from Anakin again, Tears streaming down her face as she walked and this time he didn't follow after but let her leave.
Anakin stood there for a while and watched as she left, soon after he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around to see Obi-Wan.
"She just needs time, Anakin." Obi-Wan paused for a moment and put his hand on his beard, thinking of what the right thing to say was. "And maybe when she's ready she'll come back."
Anakin nodded and Followed his old Master back to the Jedi temple reluctantly. He Looked back one last time, hoping she would come running back up those steps and say that she coming back even though he knew she wasn't.
Ahsoka walked out into Coruscant alone, feel hurt and betrayed by the Jedi order. But she couldn't worry about that now, what she needed to worry about was finding somewhere to eat and sleep or a place she could call home because As far she was concerned, The Jedi Temple was not her home. Not anymore at least...
