Meeting the Wolf brothers and Captain Spirit at the Christmas market in Beaver Creek
You stroll through the different little stands at the Christmas market in Beaver Creek, while your mother is busy chit chatting with one of the vendors. She had given you some money to go choose and buy a Pine, though you didn’t really know which one to choose. They all looked kind of the same to you.
Unexpectedly someone bumped into you from behind. As you turned around, you noticed that it had been a little boy, you would estimate him to be about eight or nine. With an apologetic look he glanced up to you.
,,Uh.. sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you. It was an accident.” He apologized.
You smiled. ,,Don’t worry about it, you’re okay?”
,,Y-yeah..”
,,Hey, Superwolf! Ready to-” Another boy appeared behind him, he seemed to be around the same age, eight or nine. As soon as he saw you he paused mid-sentence and approached to stand right next to his friend.
A small smile spread across your face, both of them were wearing cute self-made costumes and had their faces covered in paint. The boy who had just approached had blond hair and blue eyes, his skin was pale and covered with cute little freckles. He looked at you for a few seconds then he glanced over to so called Superwolf, who was physically pretty much the opposite of him. He had dark brown hair, brown eyes and tanned skin.
,,Who is she?” The freckled boy whispered to his friend.
He stuttered, not being quite sure of what to answer. ,,Uh.. she’s-”
You couldn’t suppress a chuckle. ,,I’m (Y/n). Sweet costumes by the way, I’m assuming you’re dressed as superheroes?”
,,Yes!” The boy with the darker hair answered. ,,I’m Superwolf, and he is Captain Spirit. Together we’re going to fight for justice and save the world from terrible monsters!” He stated proudly.
,,Wow, that must be a pretty tough job.” You said sounding impressed.
,,Ohh yes, right now we’re on a secret mission.” He explained in a lower tone of voice, as if he was worried that anyone else could hear him too.
,,Daniel! She wasn’t supposed to know that.” Captain Spirit complained.
,,C’mon Chris, she’s cool, she won’t tell anyone.”
Chris analysed you sceptically, then he nodded. ,,Fine. But you have to promise not to tell anyone, otherwise we’ll have to come after you.”
,,Alright, I promise.” You assured him.
A bright smile appeared on Daniel’s face. ,,Okay, so our secret mission consists in finding the perfect Christmas tree.”
,,Really? What a coincidence, I am on that exact same mission.” You grinned.
,,Woah awesome! Oh, wait you could become a part of our team! The spirit squad!”
You glanced over to Chris, who didn’t seem to share the same amount of enthusiasm about this idea like Daniel. He stared silently at his feet in the snow and tugged at his jacket sleeve.
,,Oh, I feel honored to receive such a great offer, but I think I’ll leave an important work such as saving the world to the real superheroes.”
In surprise Chris looked up, you winked at him and noticed a tiny smile appear on his lips.
,,Though I gotta say I could use some of your superhero advice. If I’m being honest, I’m not quite sure of which Pine to pick. Maybe you guys could help me out?” You continued to speak.
