Chapter 3

Navia's POV.
Oh my Gosh!!!. The new house is so big and it has a well laid out garden and structure. During summer, we can set a balloon swimming pool at the big back.
"Darlings, let's check the inside", I heard my dad say. As we walked in, they were alot of boxes stacked around the house. I guess those were the new stuffs. I never even knew the house was a six bedroom mansion. It looked like eight from the outside but the rooms were extraordinarily big unlike the ones in California. The rooms in California were big too but this one beats its lids.
"This is mum and dad's room", my dad said pointing to a room downstairs. "This is mum's extra room for her excess things", my dad said giggling pointing to a room next to theirs. My mom chuckled softly before tapping his arms playfully.
"And upstairs here is the princesses rooms", he said in an exaggerated tone. "Here is for Skai and Navia's is just opposite. The rest of it are guest rooms", he said proudly like he just finished a speech in the Grammys.
I rushed in my bedroom. Later I could set up a bean bag here and a reading swing next to the flower vase on the balcony. I could stay up late on a cold night drinking coffee while listening to slow jams. This year fantastic. They had set the bedstand and the drawers at one side just for me to finish it to my taste.
Right now I'm on top of the world!!!.

Skai's POV
I like the house. It's kinda comfy too, just the long stretch of extra space. It had a window seat and a balcony which had set up flowers already. The bathroom was big too and after hours of scrutinizing everywhere with my eagle-like eyes, I found out that the bathroom had a door to the closet. The extra big closet that will just be enough for my sister, Navia and her excess clothings.
"Girls", I heard my mom call. I tried racing down the stairs. "Girls, you might wanna grab somethings at the mall and maybe some groceries because we barely have anything but waffle mix", she said. "I will just go tell Navia that", I said and my mom nodded towards the stairs. Navia was standing at the top.
"I grabbed that", she said nastily.
My mom just shrugged giving me a knowing look. Of course everyone knows Navia is a disaster. I grabbed my purse and raced downstairs again.
"Skai, I'm leaving my card with you. Make sure your sister doesn't buy excess", my dad said in a lousy whisper. Everyone knew I had no control over Navia but they will still keep me in charge of her.
"Okay", I said grabbing my jacket. "And guys", my mom said making us look back. "Grab some fast food on your way so we won't end up eating your dad's road kill tonight", she said laughing.
"I would do that", I said hiding a big smile. Dad claims to know how to cook because his parents owned a fast food restaurant in Texas when he was little. After telling us the names of the dishes, he will end up cooking poison and even his coffee tasted like chalk water.
"Guys, your cars are yet to arrive so you take mine in the garage. The cars might arrive before nightfall most expectedly", dad announced.
Arrggh!!!. So that leaves me stuck with my sister. Horrible.
"I'm driving", she said in a sassy voice making my throw the keys at her. We would have to use the GPS to locate the nearest mall so we can grab something. I brought out my phone to check the direction.
"Navy, turn right here", I called out.
"Sass me on, sassy butt", she said with a mean laugh. Just childish and silly.
As we got to the store, I was expecting it to be a Walmart because of its size. Well, it isn't so we should just get whatever we want.
We firstly went to the cloth shop to get the clothes we can wear to school, shoes and underwears and other necessities. Then to the grocery store for flour, chicken and beef, vegetables, fruits, egg, butter etc. Then, Navia got us knuckle rings and bracelets. Who knows how much is in dad's credit card now. I just hope it's enough. I struggled to push one trolley while Navia pushed hers with full focus on her phone. I lost my phone in the accident and I just have to retrieve my mail. Thanks to Navy.
"Navia, watch where you're going", I said. She just kept chewing away until she collided with a boy at the car park. Boom. The sugar at the top fell spreading its crystals on the bare floor.
"Sorry", I muttered to the boy.  As I tried raising the pack on sugar up, the rest dumped on the floor.
"Where is your car? Let me help you with this", the boy said coming over to my side. Navia just watched like an idiot all through the time. "Thanks, I will go get another sugar", I said. Shit. I had to find another sugar and stay out the long queue to pay.
  As I got to the car, I saw the guy Navia him the other time with his back on the car. Navia was leaning over and flirting with him. "Thanks", I said in an exaggerated tone to make him feel unwelcome.
"Yeah", he said leaving. He looked back to put his hazel eyes on me again before he went inside the mall.
I can't believe I have the same face with a crazy fella.

Guys I'm sorry for always making skai's POV longer than Navia's. I can barely make out things for Navia because I'm more of a nerd than someone like Navia. But nothing is to be worried about because in the next few chapters Navia will be saying more.
