Navia's POV
Skai had gotten so close to the twins in the recent times. I don't know if the feeling in me is that of jealousy. Nah. I don't think so. I've been so afraid about everything lately especially since I striked a deal to help Sophie win the tickets to Alaph world fest. I don't think I want to do anything to Skai to make her lose her friend. She has grown so attached to them.
All I think I would do is tell Sophie that I don't want the deal again. I can't watch Skai lose friends like Maheerah and Mahaadah. She has not been a very good sister but at least she deserves this one for me. Who even knows what that crazy Sophie wants to do with the tickets.

After the third ring, Sophie finally picked up her phone. "Hello", she said in her fake voice.
"Hey Sophie. This is Navia speaking"
"I kinda figured that out first. So what do you have to say?". Gosh. Why an arrogant witch. Watch out.
"Yeah. I just called to tell you I'm opting outta the deal", I said. A creepy smile forming on my face.
"What? No, you can't just do that. We made a deal", I heard her tone change to something apologetic. I resisted the urge to laugh and continued,"I can do that in fact I can do whatever I want".
"Remember no pep rally, no sitting at our table, no fame and all", she screamed.
"Yup", I said popping the "p". "Not like I ever cared".
"Watch your back", she said and I imagine her face tighten in grimace.
Yay. I achieved one aim. I'm going to do my history homework then I'm done for the weekend.Skai's POV
As I pressed the doorbell of the elegant duplex, I could smell dry seasoned wood from their door like they just polished it. The compound was a breathless sight. The garden, the fountain, and the modern structure of the building made me wonder if I was in the right house. Mahaadah and Maheerah were way too modest for you to know they came from such a home.
"Skai", a mid aged woman screamed hugging me. She was so petite I kept wondering if she was their mom or their sister.
"Darlings, come down your friend is here", she said raising her voice slightly.
"Sky", they both screamed embracing me like I didn't see them on Friday.
"Girls. Would you lower your voices? I'm studying", a male replica of the twins said.
I just stood there starstruck , mouth wide open. Some one should tap me please.
"Skai? Are you okay?", Maheerah asked
"I'm Mrs Marteen and this is my husband", she said shaking my hands.
"Yes I know him. CEO of Alaph studios. He has collected over 15 awards this year alone. I'm a big fan sir. It was nice meeting you", I blurted out.
"It was very nice meeting you too young lady. Heard you girls are about to organize some program to raise charity funds for an orphanage in Boston"
"Yes sir. It was Mahaadah's idea to do it in school"
"Very good. I spoke with your principal and he's giving you guys a chance to do it in school. He said you can use the bleachers".
"Thank you very much sir", we echoed.
"Yeah. We will leave you girls to make plans for it", Mrs Marteen said.
"Take care of yourselves".
I let out a breath I barely knew I was holding. Then I took my time to take in the interior structure of the house. Very homely and modern. Exquisite. Looks like it popped out from an interior decor magazine.
"Come on. Come check out our rooms", Mahaadah screamed.
We walked up the stairs to a wider passage filled with rooms side by side. Down the hallway was some kind of sitting room like a game house or something.
"That's our common room. Here is Mahaadah's room", Maheerah said opening the door into a very girlish purple room with a wide balcony looking at the back of the estate's park.
"Wow, this is beautiful", I exclaimed.
"Wait till you see mine", Maheerah countered.
"Psst, mine is way finer"
Just adjacent was a mature looking room with ash and white interior. It was the most mature teenage girl decor setting I've seen. "Gosh. This is so beautiful too".
"I told ya", Maheerah said with an exaggerating wink.
" Come let's go", Mahaadah said grinning.
"And this is our common room"
It was the very gorgeous room I saw from the end of the passage. Obviously where they spent their weekend playing video games.
After we had checked their basement, pent house, pool and gym. We finally settled to plan for the fund raising while eating a snack Mrs Marteen got us. I even got home later than I expected.Author's note
