Dear Matthew,
My first day of Queen's was eventful, to say the least. I got lost on my way to school and arrived late. Luckily the secretary was such a dear and walked me to my first class. Later, I learned that she is also the librarian [I think she might be a kindred spirit].
My first class was Maths and Matthew, I never felt quite so alone. You see I am in level 2 Maths and all the other girls are in level one. I sat by the window in case I needed to imagine myself away. (The window seat has more scope for the imagination than other other seats in the room).
I spent the lesson imagining how I was going to introduce myself to three girls that seemed like they might be kindred spirits.
One girl with pale blue eyes and fair hair. She seemed like a fellow dreamer.
One girl with dark brown eyes, black hair and rosy cheeks. She seemed full of fun and games.
Lastly, the third girl with dark brown curls and delightful greenish eyes. I've never seen anyone that looked quite like her.
After Math class I immediately went up to go say hello. Stella, the dreamer looking girl and Priscilla, the mischief eyed one, approached me at the same time. It turns out I got their personalities switched. Priscilla is full of fancies and dreams and Stella is full of pranks and fun.
We became chums very fast. We have plans to sit next to each other in almost all the lessons. We have every class together...except for English [which I have for the first time tomorrow].
Now you may be wondering what happened to the unique looking girl? She disappeared right after the first lesson and I didn't see her again for the whole day. According to Stella her name is Quin. Isn't that such a peculiar name?
Tomorrow I have English class...maybe she will be there.
Now tell me how are you? How is Green Gables? How is my dear Snow Queen? Give her a kiss for me.
Write back soon,
Love,
Anne
Dear Marilla,
I had a fight with Diana. She didn't come home last night and I still haven't seen her today. What should I do?
How are you? How are your eyes? I hope they are well.
My first day at Queen's was...interesting. At first I was lonely because the other girls are in first year level classes and I am in the more advanced classes called second level classes.
However, I met two lovely girls and there is one girl who still remains a mystery [ask Matthew for more about her].
I will write more later because my soul longs for some Mayflowers and I still need to write to Mrs.Lynde.
Come and visit soon.
Love,
Anne
Dear Mrs.Lynde,
How is Avonlea? Any news? Have we found a new minister yet?
My day at Queens was interesting. The women, who own the house we are boarding at, have very strict rules about courting. I thought you might like to know that, since you told me to stay focused on my studies.
Sincerely,
Anne

I sealed the letters. I will go now to mail these and to hunt for some Mayflowers. With one hand lifting my brown dress and the other grasping my letters I walked out the door.
Winnifred's POV:
Winnifred sighed to herself. She was heartbroken and lonely. I need some fresh air and to hear the joyous sounds of the birds chirping, she thought to herself. So, she smoothed her light blue dress, grabbed the mysterious white lace umbrella, and walked out the door.
