"Kd you got one more time to put yo hands on me." I said getting up from the couch
"Touch" he said while touching me laughing
I slapped the glasses of his face as jaylah laughed
"Quit making all that damn noise!" My daddy yelled from his room
"Shut yo old ass up." I mumbled getting back on my phone to text oso
"What you say?" He asked running down the steps
"Nothing." I said quickly sitting back down
"That's what the fuck I thought." He said stomping back up
"That's what you get." Jaylah said laughing
Me, kd, and jaylah was sitting in the living room all on our phones since there wasn't anything else to do
"Y'all going to that block party?" Kd asked shoving his phone in our face
"Yo fingers stink move." Jaylah said pushing his hand away from her making his phone drop out of his hand
"Yo bald headed ass better hope my phone ain't cracked with yo Fat ass forehead ." He said whole picking up his phone
"Bitch yo ass ain't talking bout my sister I know that." I said plucking him
"Right. What my pregnant ass look like going to a block party?" Jaylah said rolling her eyes
"People acting like Covid-19 ain't a thing." I said shaking my head
"Y'all boring as fuck." Kd said getting up
"Where you going." Me and Jaylah asked at the same time. Ain't no way I'm going to be sitting in this house today.
"Damn nosey. I'm on my way to chick-fill-a" he said sighing
"You know I'm going." I said sliding into my slides
"I heard something about some food?" Keontay said popping up
"I bet yo fat ass di-" Jaylah was going to say until she seen my daddy's head pop up from around the corner
"I dare one of y'all broke ass people to cuss in my gotdamn house." He said
"You ain't have to say all that." I said straight facing him
"And you ain't got to live in my house, but you here." He said rolling his neck
"Man come on." Kd said while making his way towards the door
" I can't get my shoes on. Don't leave me." Jaylah cried as me, kd, and keontay made our way to one of our cars
"I ain't got time for her crybaby ass today." I said getting in the passenger side making sure I put on my seatbelt
