This book was rushed. I let the stress of satisfying people and stress from school get to my head for this version, and I promise the net version will be better. However, this book has a special place in my heart; it was my first finished book after all. Also, I am blaming no one for the book being rushed, I blame myself since I didn't take mental health seriously.
I am doing THREE big things for this rewrite. And this will definitely fix a bunch of plot holes, answer a bunch of questions that will come to be as Running is continued, and the cover is outdated. I don't know why but to me all my covers from a year ago are just cringy and so is my writing style.
So, first big thing!! I'm actually going to write about them being experimented on. You know, that was the whole point of the book that I absolutely blew! Curse my emo/sexuality questioning/depressed and suicidal phase. Yeah... A lot of stuff was happening, I had to see a therapist during the time I started and did for a month and a half, I questioned my sexuality and I am a straight gal, and I was pretty darn emo... Middle School was a weird time for me. But yeah!I'm going to fix the plot holes I made by letting anxiety get to me and making this book basically Wattpad clickbait.
Second big thing!! I am going to stick to one POV per chapter. Like in Running I swapped from Jacksepticeye's POV then to Markiplier's POV, though several people didn't like what I did with Mark's character... hehe. Anyway, it'll tell the story more clearly and answer a bunch of questions, especially how they know how to use their new ability's, and how Jack doesn't burn when in sunlight-
Final big thing!! Since the Cover Contest for This is Just the Beginning went so well, I'm doing the same for the upcoming book because this cover is soooo cringy! It will have the same rules as the last one but not everyone knows them so! Here they are! (I'm literally just copying and paste because I am so lazy.)
