"Ah. Did you want to see a-ling and a-Xiang? I know where they are although I can't guarantee that they are there at the moment. Want me to walk you there? I have nothing to really do anyways." Jiang Cheng said

" Sure! I mean I just wanted to check on them." Huaisang answered nervously. Fiddling with his fan he silently sighed with relief. ' thankfully Jiang cheng didn't ask too many questions or else I might have run!'

As the 2 walked through the quiet cloud recess Huaisang stopped to take a good look at the scenery. It could make for a good painting later.

"What did you stop for?" Jiang cheng murmured.

"Oh. nothing. Just thought of an idea for my paintings. It's not important. We can keep walking"

"Mn. sure"

The pair didn't talk much after.

A couple of minutes after they arrived. Jiang Cheng said his goodbyes and left Huaisang at the door. According to him, he said he had some 'things to do'. "He probably left me here on purpose or something else. All I have to do is knock so let's get this over. If I don't do it now I'll probably never do it."

So he did. Knocking twice on the door he fidgeted with his fan to get rid of his nervousness. When there was no answer he knocked again and the door swung open. Apparently, it hadn't been locked. Looking around he saw no one and decided to head in.

"Why is there no one here? Jiang Cheng said they would be here." Huaisang said. He saw a light on the table on the left and picked it up. It seemed to be almost out which meant that they had not been here for most of the day. Venturing further he saw that there was a basin of cold water, towels, and half-eaten porridge.

Their clothes and belongings seemed to be nowhere in sight and there was no note. Presumably "Yanli and the girl I came to visit were good friends so why would she not have left a note? And what of her brother? What of him? Wasn't he not feeling well?"

There were an empty notebook and pictures of art scattered on a bed. 'Presumably, someone was looking for something but what were they looking for? Or the left in a hurry. I should probably leave.'

Closing the door on his way out he walked back to his room and copied the text that Jiang cheng had given him. His head was still full of thoughts that kept him up into the night.

In the middle of the night, Yaling was awoken with the sound of a bird pecking on her window. Throwing off her covers and looking out the window she saw that it was her phoenix. Walking out she retrieved the letter from the dark-colored bird.

Take your things with you and come to the palace as soon as possible. This will only be for about a day so you don't have much to worry about. Bring your brother and don't leave a note. We have something to talk about when you get back. Stay safe for now and tell your brother about this.

It was a short note which probably meant that what they needed to talk about was important. She packed her things quickly accidentally leaving a few paintings behind. 'Not that anyone would really care. I'll come back and clean it after.'

Waking Xiang up and packing his things the pair went outside to find the phoenix still there. "Mother probably wants us to travel via phoenix. Not the most comfortable but definitely will get us out of sight." Xiang mumbled

Snapping her fingers she changed both Xiang and her outfits to court-approved robes. They wouldn't be so happy to see them in their inner robes only.

The two held to the phoenixes 2 feathers that had dropped. From there they were transported to the entrance of the courtroom.

Surveying the light lit room she found her mother and father sitting at the forefront of the room. Among them were Mazu, Leizi, and Yue-Lao. There were also other gods and goddesses there such as Fuxi their uncle and Chang'e. The pair took a formal bow and took their seats near the front of the court.

"Sorry for our late arrival. We weren't ready for this call father." Xiang said

The Jade emperor waved him off and addressed to the whole court of the situation. "The yin iron which has been taken to earth many centuries ago by Sun Wukong (Aka: The monkey king) as an act of kindness towards humans. He was unaware of the power it held and as of now, it is being used by the Wen sect leader Wen Ruohan. In order to stop a potential war from ensuing, I propose we take it back here and keep it away from humans so that it will do no more harm to the mortal world." the jade emperor declared.
