Alex's Pov.
I knocked on her door waiting silent,y for it to open. "Come in," she called. I walked in and closed the door.
"Look, Kara told me what happened today, and I know you're mad at her, but she has an award ceremony tomorrow, for the Pulitzer Award" I said.
"Good for her, what does that have to do with me" Lena asked.
"As much as you hate her, you should go, it would make her feel better" I said softly.
"I don't need to go see her get an Awa-" Lena started.
"Just think about it, you can hide in the back where she can't see you and I'll just tell her you saw and that's it" I said before leaving. I hurried to Noonan's before they closed and headed back to Kara's.
"What took you so long?" Kara asked.
"They were packed, sorry I'm late" I lied. I didn't want her to know I talked to Lena. She shrugged her shoulders. "So what are you planning on wearing to the ceremony tomorrow?" I asked her softly
"I don't know, maybe you could help me?" She asked sweetly, batting her eyes, and pouting.
"You don't need to pout, I would've said yes anyways," I replied.
"It's a surprise with you okay" she said placing the potstickers in her plate. I rolled my eyes and she laughed. When we were finished with our dinner we watched a movie and I went home. We both had to be up early.

Kara's Pov.
The Pulitzer Award ceremony."Are you excited? This is your moment!" Alex said excitedly.
"No, this is one of her many moments to come" Nia said almost ten times more excitedly.
"Congratulations Kara, you truly deserve it " J'onn said giving me a slightly to hard hug.
"Thank you all of you" I said happily. People started to applaud and that was our que to stand by the podium.
"I am so glad to be handing the Pulitzer Award to this very talented reporter" Mr.Pulitzer said. The award was named after his grandmother Jane Pulitzer. She was the most popular reporter of her days.
"Without further a do, please welcome Kara Danvers, reporter at Cat-co media" he said and lead the entire room in applause.
"Wow, I'm so great full for this opportunity" I said happily. "When I first started working at Cat-Co, I was Cat Grant's assistant and I didn't know that I wanted t9 be a reporter, that was until I met Lena Luthor, I never would have made it this far without her so I would like to thank her for getting me as far as I am" I said taking a quick pause. "And I would like to thank my sister Alex, my mentor J'onn and every single friend who encouraged and believed in me." The room filled with applause once more and I walked off the stage. I noticed Lena I'm a corner.
"Congrats Supergirl" Alex whispered.
"Hold this for me please" I asked handing her the award. She took it and I walked over to Lena. "You came?" I asked.
"I shouldn't have, I don't really know why I came" she said bitterly.
"I'm glad that you came, I really have been wanting to talk to you Lee," I said softly.
"Well I don't" she said sternly and she turned for the door.
"I love you," I blurted. I caught both of us by surprise. She quickly turned back to face me.
