Kara's Pov.
Two months later.I have been distancing myself from everyone. The only time people truly saw me was when I was Supergirl. There was an article published about Supergirl that made the news. 'National City's superhero slaking' they called it. It was posted by an anonymous source. It was probably Lex, or even someone Lena hired.
"Kara, I know you are in here and you're not ditching game night this time" Alex screamed from outside my apartment.
"Please leave Alex" I yelled slightly. I heated her scoff.
"Fine, I will just take this letter from Lena with me then" She said with annoyance in her tone. I flew up and opened the door.
"Give me the letter, Now Alex!" I said with my eyes blaring.
"I knew it had something to do with Lena" she replied as she placed the letter in my hand.
"It has nothing to say do with Lena" I said as I looked at the envelope. I opened it and read it.
To Ms. Kara Danvers,
We are proud to be writing to you, you have won the Pulitzer award and we would love for you to be at the ceremony to collect you award.
"What does it say?" Alex asked. I placed the letter in her hand.
"You read it" I said. She read over it and squealed.
"No way! Aren't you excited?" She asked happily.
"Not as excited as you, maybe it should be your award" I said bitterly.
"Okay, tell me what's going on right now" she said sternly. "And I'm not leaving until you do." I rolled my eyes and sat down. Then I told her.
~
"She knew? For all that time"Alex asked.
I nodded. "Yeah, Lex told her."
"Well I know something that will make you feel better," Alex said standing up.
"What?" I asked.
"Potstickers from Noonan's" Alex said excitedly. That got me griping.
"That will definitely make me feel better" I said.
"I will be back soon" Alex said as she walked out the door.
A/N:
