Lena's Pov.
After leaving the DEO, I headed straight to L-Corp. Kara's words were confusing and they made no sense. "Ms.Luthor, your new assistant is here and is ready to meet with you," my former assistant Jess said.
"Send her in please," I asked. She nodded and retrieved the new assistant. Seconds later, my new assistant walked in and sat down.
"Hello Ms.Luthor, I'm Alison Brooks" the young brunette introduced.
"Hello Ms.Brooks, I'm Ms.Luthor, but you already know that" I chuckled nervously. She looked at a picture of me and Kara on my desk and pointed at it.
"You know Kara?" She asked.
"Yeah, how do you know her?" I asked.
We-um, were born in the same place" Ali said.
"You're Kryptonian?" I asked. She nodded.
"The Zor-el family was one of the well known family's on Krypton, I'm surprised Kara never told you?" Alison states. I nodded.
"Well, Kara and I aren't on the best of terms at the moment," I said sort of sadly.
"Oh I'm sorry, but I can promise you she will come around" Ali said reassuringly.
"How are you so sure?" I asked.
"She always does, she can never stay mad at anyone for too long" she said.
"Well it was nice meeting you Alison" I said as she stood up and shook my hand. She left the office closing the door behind her.
