Chapter Six~ Eventful Night.

Lena's Pov.

I know I had hurt Kara, but this wasn't like her. She was way to sweet to ever speak to someone like that.

"Wait, Kara what's gotten into you?" I asked, causing her to turn and shoo off Alex.

"You're not wanted here, I didn't even want you to come in the first place" Kara said bitterly. "Notice how quickly I stopped trying? I don't need you in my life nor do I want you in it."

"Kara, that's enough," Alex said as she came back around.

"I never should've trusted a-"

"Kara enough!" Alex shouted. "You've made your point, you don't need to go out of your way to make Lena feel upset!" Alex said. Maybe I made a mistake, she still seemed to care about me.

"She did this to me, I say treat people equally" Kara said bitterly.

"Two wrongs don't make a right Kara, you know this" Alex said. "What's gotten into you?, Yesterday you were scared Lena wasn't going to show, you wanted her here" Alex asked. I was shocked for point two seconds.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't be here Alex, I made the mistake of coming" I apologised turning.

"Wait up, I wanna talk with you?" Alex shouted as she sent Kara off. Kara's eyes looked different, they looked hateful.

"I'm sorry Alex, I truly didn't mean for this to happen" I apologised to her once  more.

"I think she's under the affect of Red Kryptonite" Alex said.

"What's Red Kryptonite?" I asked.

"Something created my Maxwell Lord to kill her," I gasped is shock. "He made it wrong, and she became... almost as evil as your brother" Alex added.

"So that's why she's saying those hurtful things to me?" I asked Alex. She nodded.

"She was awful to me on her last experience, whoever she just fought must've gotten some" she pointed out trying to think.

"Do you have a cure?" I asked.

"We do but not enough, each time someone gets this in a Kryptonian's system, it gets stronger and more difficult to control" Alex explained.

"What did she do last time?" I asked. I was scared for an answer.

"She threw Cat Grant off her balcony and caught her seconds before she hit the pavement, she tried very hard to seduce James, while he was dating Lucy Lane," she paused. Poor Kara, I thought.  "She let a rouge alien escape and said he wasn't worth her time, she made the town fear her for weeks, she had to almost get herself killed for them to trust her again"

"What did she do to you? And don't tell me nothing I saw that look in your eyes" I said firmly. Alex took a deep breath before speaking.

*explanation through flashback scene*
Alex's Pov

Kara began to laugh "I needed a wardrobe overhaul." Kara began to laugh again as I extinguished the fire she cause with her heat vision.

"Kara, this isn't you" I said trying to stop her.

"I'm more me than I've ever been!" She said.

"Please listen, you were exposed to Red Kryptonite it-it-it's altered your brain,  you're not seeing clearly" I explained. She rolled her eyes and turned to face me.

"Oh I see clearly, I see how you've always been jealous of me!" Her words started to sting. "You didn't want me to come out as Supergirl because you sis the way me to own my powers" Kara said bitterly. I shook my head and took a step back. "I can fly, I can catch bullets with my bare hands" she started walking closer and closer. "And that makes you feel...Worthless." She walked towards the window and I followed her.

"No, no, I'm proud of you"  I said hoarsely.

"And the when you couldn't stop me from being Supergirl" Kara paused for a second. "You got me to work for you, to retain some control" she scoffed. "Those days are so over, I am finally free of you, and I'm ready to soar."

"Look at that city, they worship me," her face started glowing red. "And  those who don't will"  she glared at the city.

"Kara? Listen to yourself-" I said.

"Oh, Cut the big sister act Alex!" She said angrily as she turned and faced me. " we have never been sisters, we don't share blood!, and you know what that sad truth is?" She asked pausing. "Without me you have no life, and that kills you, Deep down you hate me, and that's why you killed my Aunt" she said bitterly.tears started spilling down my face.  "Gaw,Did I make you cry?" She asked in a mocking tone. "You know what they say, The truth hurts." She turned and flew out of the window.

Lena's Pov.

Alex has tears in her eyes as she told everything that Kara had done. "Ohh, Alex I'm so sorry," I paused. "How can I help, because I don't want to see her like this" I asked.

"You can start by helping me make the antidote" Alex said. I nodded and we rushed to the DEO.
