Ninjago Tournament of Elements Takes a Twist

Chapter 7: Defeating Chen

Previously on Ninjago...

"We have an uninvited guest on the island," Chen announced to everybody on the plane

"Nya! He wants us all to hunt her down!" Kai realized as the remaining competitors are released from the airplane

"Back to our plan to get all of us out of here!" Cole tells everyone in the factory

"Evelyn! Is that you?!" Flint questioned

The Evelyn turns around smiling with her light turquoise eyes. Then we flip to when Flint battled Evelyn.

"They did something to you! What happened?!" He asked

We see the bright light happen and go back to Nya running into Lloyd and Garmadon.

"You're the only one who can stop it!" Nya tells Lloyd and Garmadon handing them the paper with the spell

"A transformation spell for an army of Anacondrai," Garmadon reveals

"They took everyone!" Nya exclaimed

We see the scene where Evelyn joins Chen with an unconscious Flint. Chen throws Kai in with the rest of the Masters as he laughs. Kai looked at Skylar realizing she was the spy and that Chen was her father.

"Chen's your father?!" Kai exclaimed then everything turned ablaze.

•Cue the intro•

Kai's POV

    We were lead back to the underground ceremony place as all five of us competitors were chains together. It was vengestone too so we couldn't use our powers. Flint was nowhere to be seen with as Skylar turned out to be the spy.

"What's so special about Flint? Why have him somewhere else?" I wondered

"So the ninja were right. This was never about any of us winning the tournament. This was always about something sinister," Turner finally realized

"What gave it away? The cult following of the giant snake head?" Shade questioned sarcastically, "or you being a big idiot?"

"We've been fighting each other for so long it took us all losing to finally work together," Neuro noted, ignoring Shade's last comment

"Too bad it's too late. Besides that, where is Flint? Where did they take him?" Neuro added, no one answered though

Jay kept humming happily even though our powers were going to be taken away very soon. I finally had enough questioning why he was humming. He replied back with saying that the cursed shackles blocked our powers that he chose to use the powers of positive thinking. He continued with assuring us that Lloyd would come save us like he always did.

Skylar looked away once we came to where we needed to be. I told her to just do what she was doing, telling her Chen would take her powers too. Skylar responded back saying that her father gets everything he wants, saying she had no choice.

"Just tell me one thing. Was it his idea to make me fall for you? Or yours?" I asked before adding, "because it worked,"

She gasped and looked down. I noticed a bit of a smile.
