Ninjago Tournament of Elements Takes a Twist

Chapter 4: The Matches Continue, Team Roller Blade

Previously on Ninjago...

"And so the matches begin," Flint said to himself

We switch to some scenes of the matches that happened until we get to Neuro talking to Flint.

"I can usually see what is going on in people's minds, but not with you. You're different, and that intrigues me," Neuro commented

"Hey we need your help, Neuro," we hear Lloyd say

Flint hides behind a pillar as he listened in on Neuro's conversation with the Ninja.

"How have they not noticed? Well, I guess that means I worked," Flint noted to himself

We hear the screams coming from the cell next to Zane's as they subsided.

"My necklace only glows like this when somethings up with...," Flint started as he realized what this meant

"Evelyn!" After yelling this in his mind the scene turns ablaze

•Cue the intro•

Flint's POV

    I stayed there for a while as my necklace dyed down, but that made me even more worried.

"Eve, what happened? Where are you?"

I couldn't think for long because Chen made an announcement for all the elements to meet at the arena to watch Jay and Cole's fight. As I was walking to the arena I realized Neuro wasn't there. Before I even thought of contacting him he contacted me.

"I'm on Chen's floor. I see him getting ready with those Kabuki. I'm going to try and get close enough to read his mind. I think I can, oh, I have to go!" He explained before cutting off abruptly

"Strange," I wondered what happened as I see him run over to me

"Hey," I greeted

"Hello," he replied back, catching his breath

"I saw into Clouse's mind instead of Chen's because he caught me off-guard. I'll show you what I saw after I talk to the ninja," he informed me as I nodded and he ran to the ninja

Once he was done, that's when I got the vision. Clouse had some spell book. The powers Chen is collecting is for a spell. Page 149 in the book, specifically that page, but why? I tried looking at the words but the memory disappeared before I could read them. I never knew Clouse used a book like that. Must've been because of what he can use now.

"If he needs them for a spell then Chen would just need Eve or myself to do it. If he doesn't know, then that'll be good for our sake," I was relieved, but we aren't out of the woods yet

Chen announced the Masters as they walked out of their cells, "Jay, Master of Lightning versus Cole, Master of-" before he finished they began fighting

Jay struck first with lightning but Cold dodged it and made rocks come Jay's way.

Jay dodged that as he made a snarky comment, "That's all you've got? Least valuable ninja,"

They just kept arguing as they battled, but I wasn't so focused on the battle than I was Eve. I closed my eyes to use my powers and see if I could sense her. I was able to when I was down in that basement area. However, during the time, I was distracted by the ninja getting caught so I couldn't pinpoint where in that underground area. The last thing I need is for myself to get caught and not be able to help her.
