-Familiar Faces-

You run quickly through the thick underbrush, Chloe swiftly following behind as you both chase Cliff down deeper into the jungle
"PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN THERES NOTHING THERE!" Shouts Chloe as she tries to grab him "CLIFF PLEASE DUDE SLOW DOWN" you yell as you get pricked and cut by the thorny bushes as you run. Cliff stays determined and keeps following the faint whistle, almost outrunning you and Chloe "IM COMING" yells cliff as he effortlessly traverses the bushy terrain. After a while he trips over a hidden wire and gets completely tied up "what the!?" He yells as he tries to wriggle himself out. "Cliff!" Screams Chloe as she begins to cut the thick wire "this is actual wire, who the hell did this?" you look ahead to scan the surroundings "well theres no one here". As Chloe almost finishes cutting something takes her leg and drags her away "huh? Shit shit! n-no no no no, help me!" she yells before disappearing into the bushes "Chloe!" you scream, cliff looks over "fuck!, get me out of this thing!" You quickly finish cutting him out and immediately start running for Her, Cliff follows closely behind.
After running for a while you dash into a small clearing with what looks like two tents made out leaves, you see Chloe walk out of one of them and run quickly to give you a hug "holy shit, i thought i was dead!" you look at her in the eyes "what the hell got you?" She doesn't say anything but motions up to one of the tents, you look up to see a familiar face heading your way "sarg?" You say, she stands up straight "hello, rookies, i didn't think you would last this long, and well..... i didn't think we would be here for this long" she looks down sadly "anyways, follow me recruits, we have a lot to discuss" She marches up the hill back into one of the leafy tents. once inside she begins talking again "so as you know, the ship um, was uh, destroyed" you all nod "i don't know how were gonna get out of here" she says, "is there anyway to contact anyone" you ask, she then laughs "kid if i could talk to anyone i would already be off this damn rock!"
You all sit still, cliff keeps on checking his back "hey man, you ok?" You ask, he responds "yeah, im just a bit paranoid y'know heh" you look up at morgan "hey wait, why the fuck did you drag Chloe away?!" She looks back "cause you idiots were going the wrong way, had to get you here somehow" she looks at Cliff "fantastic senses big guy, all you needed is a quiet whistle hehe" he stares at her "where did you get it..." she looks at him, puzzled "im sorry but i don't know what you're talking about!" cliff snarls "yes you fucking do...." the sergeant stands up and backs away "fine, i found it, is that what you wanna hear rookie" he gets angrier with her vague answer "where did you find it!" She chuckles before stepping out of the tent "follow me rookies, i have something to show you" she steps into the other tent, which has what looks like two long tables made of sticks, with one having a blanket with something inside.
Cliff storms in and looks at the table and then to the sergeant "go ahead big guy" she says, he then pulls back the blanket revealing a resting body. You and Chloe step back a bit in surprise as cliff removes the blanket. cliff stares at it the sleeping canine "max..."
