Chapter 2

Teacher:" So we will be going to the nearest campsite for 3 days."

Rose (in mind):  I don't think I will be able to go...because I have very less money😔

Teacher: "And there is greater news.....you shall not pay for the picnic."

Rose ( in mind ): what!? Is it free?

Teacher: "you will be divided into different groups of four for the staycation."

Teacher: "you can sit with your friends on the bus."

Teacher: "More will be discussed later"

Time skip to lunch break

Rose was sitting alone on the corner of the cafeteria.
 
Then someone tapped on her shoulder.

She turned back to see who it was.

???: Hi..Can I sit here?

Rose: sure

???: Thank you.😊

It was a boy in my class who was very intelligent and athletic.
His name was Chris.

Chris: I am going to grab my lunch from the counter, do you want me to buy you anything?

Really, is someone in school going to spend money on me?

But I didn't want to trouble him.

Rose: No, Thank you!

Chris: okay then.
He left to the counter.

I should have said him to buy something for me..... I am hungry 😩

Then he came holding two trays in his hand.

He sits back and keeps the first tray in front of him and the second next to him.

I really thought he would have bought it for me.

I looked at the tray and looked at him and left.

Chris has been nice to rose for a week.

But rose ignored him.

Teacher: so if poverty affects the nat...

( bell rings and the class starts to pack their bag)

Oh and the picnic is on next Sunday after this weekend

Teacher: anyways you guys are going to fail.
....

??? : Rose!
(someone yelled my name)

Rose: yes ( turned back to see who it was)

Rose: Chris..😒

Chris: yes.

Rose: What do you want? ( Annoyed)

Chris: Would you like me to walk you home? (Kind)

Rose: No thanks😊 ( you were still pissed off from what Chris did earlier )

Chris: Pls..😇

Rose (in mind): should I walk with him or not...its okay to walk with him.

Rose: Okay..but maintain distance.

Chris: Okay.

(While we were walking, suddenly lightning arrived )

Rose: ( flinched)

Chris: Are you fine? 🤨

Rose: yes 😁

( Then it started to rain)

(Chris grabbed rose's wrist and ran to a shade)

(They both were showered with rainwater)

(Rose was shivering 😖 and suddenly felt a huge wet cloth on her shoulder )

Chris: Wear this or else you will catch a cold. 😇

Rose: Thank you.
(Rose felt she was falling for him but she reminded herself that she should not)

Chris: So can we become friends?

Rose: Of course

They were enjoying the rain..

But suddenly

Rose ( murmured ): oh shit I had to make the plan for killing the murderer.

( rose thought that Chris didn't hear what she murmured but it was loud enough for Chris to hear.)

Chris: What murderer? What killing?

Rose: Nothing!? 😁

Chris: I heard what you said🤨

Rose:*sigh*

( rose thought whether to tell him and get his help to kill him - the murderer )

Rose: Will you help me?
