Welcome, all.
I’m very lucky to be interviewing one of our hosts' unstablebibliophile author of Terrified |Thanks for asking|.
Hi unstablebibliophile, thank you for agreeing to do this interview.
Tell us a little about yourself and your role in the community? As the dazzle host, I am behind most of the events and activities of our community. With the help of our wonderful community members, we strive to make this community great.
I am sure our readers are grateful for the wonderful opportunities created in this community.
Can you mention some of the departments that make up this community?
This community is made up of many departments that the readers can find in our directory. To mention a few we have coordinators, members, designers and judges.
Any future plans that you think readers should look out for?
Definitely. We are planning our long-awaited Poetry awards.
We appreciate all the work you have done for this community but now we would love to get to know you more. So we are going to talk about your book Terrified |Thanks for asking| and the things that inspired it.
Okay.
What inspired you to write your book (Terrified |Thanks for asking|?
Terrified was inspired by all the differences we have in our day to day lives. I wanted to write a book about people that were separated by history and old grudges despite being thrown together by destiny. I wanted to give a voice to the differences we cling to despite not fully understanding any of them.
How many books have you written?
I have written several books on and off wattpad, I have to say I have lost count.
Which one is your favourite? And Why?
My favourite book to write was Breathe mostly because it got me through a very difficult time.
Do you have a favourite character that you have written? If so, who? And what makes them so special?
My current favourite character is Kimiko from my new book Terrified |Thanks for asking|. Kimiko is my favourite character because unlike me she doesn't see any restrictions in her life instead she lives by the code 'Carpe diem' even if it means she could die.
Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
Unfortunately no. But I do plan on trying that out soon by placing small background characters from other books.
Which of your books were the most enjoyable to write?
If you asked me this out loud I would lie and say something like Jason & Darius. But the book I enjoyed writing the most was without a doubt The Murderer's Muse.
What comes first, the plot or characters?
For me, it's always the characters. Giving life to my characters is what drives my stories.
What’s the most difficult thing about writing new genres?
Figuring out what I can and can not write about. I always find it restricting when I change genres.
What is your favourite time to write, and why?
The evening. I am and always will be a nocturnal creature.
Who is the most supportive person in your life when it comes to your writing?
My Best Friend. I have known him for half my life and he never fails to surprise me with his encouragement.
Describe your perfect book hero or heroine.
Any hero who is emotionally vulnerable and still manages to function. As you can see I love characters that are intouch with their emotional side.
Do you listen to/read any writing blogs or podcasts you can recommend?
I have quite a lot of podcasts I listen to for selfish reasons. But I will recommend these two writing related ones, Wattpad After Dark & Aspire to think Big (by CameoLover93) .
Writing can be an emotionally draining and stressful pursuit. Any tips for aspiring writers?
Be true to yourself and write about anything that never leaves your mind. Write about what you wish to see, write about what you love and write about what you obsess about. Write about anything and everything.
We have had a great time learning about all these facts from you. We were hoping you would indulge us a little as we ask some fun random questions.
Yes, sure.
If you had the opportunity to live anywhere in the world for a year while writing a book that took place in that same setting, where would you choose?
France 2016. Only because I would love to write a modern french story.
What is your most unusual writing quirk?
I guess the fact that most of my happier chapters are written when I am sad and I write most sad chapters when I am happy. It's a little topsy turvy in my world.
If you could invite one fictional person to dinner, who would it be and what would you cook?
Dean Winchester and I would make him a great sandwich ;-).
If you were a tour guide, what would you like a visitor to see from your fictional worlds?
RHACAYN - Belladonna's Workplace from my book Terrified |Thanks for asking|. The compound is a large state of the art scientific camp that hides a deeper darker secret under the disguise of a cult.
Mention a few wattpad friends that have been good to you during your wattpad journey.
I have a lot of wattpad friends I admire and cherish among these friends are the likes of SayWatt74 tagtammy ImDUCKINGMAD & Anna_licious. I would love to mention everyone but unfortunately, the space is limited, ha.
For our last question, we would like to know if you are on social media and can your readers interact with you?
Yes, I am on Twitter, Instagram and Inkitt under the same name @unstablebibliophile.
